Joe Rogan has recently lost his dominant position on the Spotify podcast charts, albeit with an intriguing twist. Since the inception of his exclusive partnership with Spotify, Rogan’s podcast not only attracted millions of new subscribers but also motivated Spotify to enhance its platform by introducing a video feature.
Over the years, *The Joe Rogan Experience* has consistently topped the podcast charts, surpassing competitors in metrics such as total audience size and hours of content consumed. This stronghold, however, is not unshakeable; Rogan has faced occasional setbacks due to the launch of new shows or the attraction of high-profile guests on rival podcasts.
Joe Rogan Loses UK Chart Position to *The Rest Is* Podcast
As of early December, Rogan has been dethroned from the top spot, at least in the UK Spotify charts. This time, he lost his position to *The Rest Is Classified*, a fresh addition to the *The Rest Is* franchise that delves into themes of espionage and intelligence.
Notably, *The Rest Is Classified* has only released three episodes since its debut on November 28, including a teaser, highlighting the rapid rise of this new podcast.

The impact of this shift isn’t confined to the UK alone. Rogan has also seen his show slip from the top in Ireland, Sweden, and Denmark. In Denmark, the *Joe Rogan Experience* has fallen outside the top 10, while still managing to maintain a place in the top 10 in Ireland and Sweden.
Despite these changes in certain international markets, Rogan remains the reigning champion in the US podcast charts, along with high placements in Canada and Australia. Nonetheless, his ranking in the US is under threat as shows like Shawn Ryan’s and popular series such as *Crime Junkie* and *ChainsFR* are increasingly gaining traction.
The dynamic landscape of podcasting continues to evolve with new entrants making significant impacts, demonstrating that even the mightiest can be challenged. Stay tuned to see how these shifts unfold.
