JoJo Siwa announced her plans to have her desired triplets through the use of several surrogates, causing some viewers to criticize the idea as “excessive.”
Siwa has openly discussed her plans for her future family, revealing that she already has a “sperm donor lined up”and two tattoos in honor of her future children.
In February 2024, Siwa revealed to Access Hollywood that she planned to have one daughter named Freddy, as well as twin sons named Eddy and Teddy. However, her plans have since changed and she now hopes to have all three children at the same time.
In a video on YouTube with Cosmopolitan, Siwa explained her reactions to different scenarios, providing further insight into her plans of bringing “triplets”into her life as the ‘Karma’ singer.
The topic was introduced at 5:28.
If her future wife didn’t approve of the names Siwa had chosen for their children, the former Dance Moms star stated that she would end the relationship and seek a divorce.
Siwa shared that the discussion about names was something that she always had at the beginning of her relationships. She was determined to stick to her chosen names and wouldn’t change her mind. Additionally, she disclosed a timeline for the birth of her planned triplets.
“She promised, ‘I am willing to have as many additional children as you desire, no matter how many more. However, it is important to note that Freddy, Eddy, and Teddy will be joining us in three years, whether you approve or not.’”
Siwa went on to clarify that due to her sexuality and the different process involved in planning a pregnancy, she had chosen to fertilize three eggs and use three surrogates to carry the pregnancy. She described herself as “gay as sh**”and explained that this decision allowed her to have a child in a way that was unique to her situation.
Despite being born separately, the kids would still technically be considered triplets as they were all from the same batch. While Siwa may be confident in her future children’s conception, some viewers raised concerns about the potential irresponsibility of her plan in the comments.
One person expressed their concern about the situation, stating that having [Freddy, Eddy, and Teddy] in different surrogates simultaneously was chaotic. Meanwhile, on X (formerly known as Twitter), another individual raised doubts about the children being triplets if they were from different mothers and unlikely to be born on the same day.
A YouTube viewer pointed out that surrogacy already has a high likelihood of resulting in multiple births, making it irresponsible to have three surrogates. Furthermore, the viewer noted that Siwa is still fully capable of conceiving her own children through IVF. The viewer expressed hope that Siwa’s comments were meant as a joke, as she did not seem well-informed on the topic.
