JoJo Siwa to reconsider her next move following backlash to her ‘new era’

JoJo Siwa recently announced her decision to make a change following the negative opinions she has received in the past few months.

JoJo Siwa caught the attention of many when she revealed her shift to a “not made for children era”on Instagram in May. In this announcement, she informed her fans that her future content may be considered “disturbing or offensive”to certain viewers.

Despite releasing her new single ‘Karma’ in April, fans were not impressed with the accompanying choreography. In fact, some went as far as to say that the dance moves were the worst in history, agreeing with the sentiment that she had choreographed them.

Despite having changed her style multiple times in the past, JoJo took to TikTok on June 17 to declare that she would be altering her next move, having listened attentively to the opinions of her fans.

The speaker continued by acknowledging that she has been very active and vocal in the past three months. She expressed gratitude for her fans who have given her a fresh perspective and inspired a new idea for her upcoming song.

Gradually, as she explained, a startling video of her was featured on the background of her TikTok.

During her 21st birthday, she shared clips of her bruised back eye, as well as footage of her chugging vodka during her performance at Pride in the Park, her viral dance moves, and even Abby Lee Miller from Dance Moms screaming at her.

Despite facing criticism for touching herself during her Pride Performance in June, JoJo did not explicitly express regret for her decision-making in recent months. However, her video compilation made it evident that she has acknowledged the changes she has undergone.

The comments section was filled with fans expressing their shock at her essentially teasing a trailer for what is to come.

In addition, someone else commented, “The fact that you compiled all of these clips regardless of any negative comments about you is truly iconic… no one could ever make me dislike you.”

Some individuals concurred that they hoped for the artist to adopt a “beach aesthetic”or country style. On the other hand, one person expressed a sincere desire to hear the artist’s message in their forthcoming song lyrics.

Despite taking months for JoJo to decide to make a change, she promised her fans that she would return shortly with her future plans.
