JoJoLands chapter 15: Charmingman’s Stand name revealed as Usagi continues to be attacked

This highly-anticipated installment continued Jodio Joestar and his team’s daring scheme to take over Howler’s land. However, the plan took an unexpected turn when Usagi suddenly experienced a medical emergency in the previous issue’s climactic finale.

Chapter 15 of JoJoLands opened with Charmingman and Dragona Joestar attempting to revive Usagi Aloha’oe, who had suddenly suffered a medical emergency without any prior warning. Charmingman also proposed leaving Usagi behind, claiming that he was a drug addict since his symptoms seemed to be indicative of a drug overdose.

Despite Dragona’s clear hesitation, Paco Lovelantes and Jodio Joestar quickly approached in the getaway car. Usagi, however, managed to convince Dragona to have his Stand, Matte Kudasai, transform into a straw. Eventually, Dragona followed through with this request, allowing Usagi to use a box cutter from his bag to create a hole in his chest. He then inserted the straw, successfully opening his airway and allowing him to breathe. Dragona and Charmingman then helped carry Usagi into the car.

During chapter 15 of JoJoLands, Dragona and Charmingman recounted the events that had taken place. As they spoke, the issue dove through the straw in Usagi’s chest and entered his body. Inside, a miniature Stand was attacking him, which Usagi soon realized and conveyed to the rest of the group. He urgently called for them to start driving, but they remained still, taking time to carefully evaluate the situation.

Usagi continued to express his concern, stating that if no action was taken, he would face a potentially fatal medical emergency. Despite his pleas, no one responded, causing him to let out another desperate scream. Charmingman then interjected, claiming that Usagi’s symptoms were merely a result of stress and that he was likely lying in order to remain on the team.

In chapter 15 of JoJoLands, Charmingman’s statement that all junkies are liars was met with the others’ attention. Usagi countered by stating that he was not currently on drugs, but had only experimented in the past. He clarified that his current condition was a result of an attack, not an overdose. Jodio suggested considering all possibilities, including the possibility of an enemy Stand being involved in the attack.

Dragona and Charmingman deliberated on the possible cause of the attack, but were unable to come to a conclusion as nothing out of the ordinary had occurred and they had not seen anyone suspicious. Just then, an ambulance arrived, leading everyone to believe it was for Usagi. However, to their surprise, the ambulance bypassed them and headed towards the land deed building. Soon after, the woman who had aided Usagi, Dragona, and Charmingman was wheeled out on a stretcher with symptoms similar to Usagi’s.

In chapter 15 of JoJoLands, Usagi came to the realization that she had progressed further in dealing with her symptoms compared to JoJo. She was concerned about what this meant for JoJo’s future. Jodio, on the other hand, believed it was clear that there was now an enemy involved, suspecting it to be a Stand that automatically pursues its target. This would also explain why the woman who had helped them was attacked, despite not posing any known threat or being a target.

The group concluded that the remote controlled Stand functions like an infectious disease in order to maintain secrecy, enabling the user to easily check if the target has been eliminated. Charmingman then instructed Usagi to confront him, causing Usagi to express anger towards him for his previous comments. However, Charmingman expressed his newfound belief and respect for Usagi, particularly after witnessing how he was able to regulate his breathing on his own without seeking unnecessary assistance from others.

JoJoLands chapter 15 revealed that Charmingman expressed admiration for individuals who take matters into their own hands, as he utilized his Stand to send his eyeball through a straw and into Usagi’s body. Dragona remarked on Charmingman’s Stand being named Bigmouth Strikes Again, while Paco came to the realization that his tough skin was actually his own Stand.

The attention then turned to Charmingman’s developed eyeball lodged in Usagi’s right lung, as it started to scan for the enemy Stand. It soon located the Stand attacking a blood vessel wall, and quickly dove in to prevent its escape. Despite the Stand’s attempts to flee, Charmingman persevered and captured it with his dust, noting its sluggish and predictable movements, characteristic of a remotely controlled, automatic pursuit Stand.

Similarly, in JoJoLands chapter 15, Charmingman successfully restrained the enemy Stand and began pulling it out of Usagi. However, he began experiencing symptoms similar to Usagi’s in the spot where his right eye should have been. The rest of the group urged him to let go of the Stand, as they could see he was getting sick from touching it as well. Despite their pleas, Charmingman refused, determined to remove the Stand from Usagi.

After observing Dragona’s similar symptoms, Jodio redirected their attention to the land deed building. The chapter concluded by revealing that Dragona was the daughter of a Congressman, and that her father was investigating illegal activities involving water sources on Howler-owned land.
