With the impending release of Agatha All Along, there is speculation about the involvement of Jonathan Majors. This actor was poised to become a major antagonist in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), but his future took a turn amid controversy.
The MCU has faced challenges recently, leading to comments from the iconic character Deadpool in Deadpool & Wolverine, who said, “Welcome to the MCU. You’re joining at a bit of a low point.”
With disappointments like Ant-Man 3, The Marvels, and Secret Invasion, paired with a noticeable superhero fatigue, 2023 has been considered a low point for the comic book studio.
Nonetheless, there is a silver lining. Deadpool 3 has been celebrated as a success, and Agatha All Along is set to build on the horror elements introduced in WandaVision, potentially revitalizing the MCU. However, it seems the series will not feature Majors.
Jonathan Majors Likely Not in Agatha All Along
Current information suggests that Jonathan Majors will not appear in Agatha All Along. His name surfaced due to a rumor indicating he had filmed scenes as the Kang variant Immortus following his debut in Ant-Man 3, but these were reportedly scrapped after his arrest.
According to user ExiledScoop3r on X/Twitter, he claimed that Majors had completed filming for the Marvel series, but this information remains unverified, and no official confirmation has been made.
A community note cautioned that there is no substantiation for Majors filming scenes for Agatha All Along and that the user is known for spreading misleading information.
ExiledScoop3r elaborated on the supposed origins of Immortus, stating they would have been presented during a pivotal moment in the show as Agatha and the Coven of Witches navigate through the Witch’s road and trials. The narrative suggested Immortus came from a lineage tied to witchcraft in ancient Egypt, demonstrating a dark and compelling backstory.

The unfolding tale detailed Immortus’s interactions with others and hinted at the internal conflicts he faced, including a significant battle involving his mother and the mutant Apocalypse.
According to ExiledScoop3r, Immortus’s journey was to be fraught with challenges, including conflicts with Chthon, a mystical entity. The narrative depicted his aspirations to connect with other variants of himself while amassing power in secret.
These rumored scenes were allegedly filmed in early 2023, but following Majors’ arrest, Marvel made the decision to remove him from the MCU. It was suggested that these elements could be repurposed to introduce new characters, such as Doctor Doom, into the Marvel lineup.
Reasons for Majors’ Removal from the MCU
Jonathan Majors was eliminated from his role as Kang the Conqueror after being convicted of assaulting a former partner in December 2023. His legal troubles began in March of that year in New York City, where he faced allegations of harassment following a dispute.
Despite his denial of the charges, further allegations came to light, leading to a significant legal fallout. By December, he was found guilty of assault and harassment, prompting Disney to officially cut ties with the actor.
Majors was originally slated to star in critical upcoming MCU films, including Avengers: The Kang Dynasty. However, this title was subsequently changed to Avengers: Doomsday, with Robert Downey Jr. taking on a prominent role as Doctor Doom.
As part of the legal consequences, Majors is required to undergo a batterer intervention program and continues to navigate the aftermath of this tumultuous chapter in his career.
Agatha All Along is slated to premiere on September 18, 2024.
