Joseph Parker: Hilarious ‘The Office’ Parody for Upcoming Fight

Joseph Parker’s pursuit for his next rival in the boxing arena took another humorous twist when he posted a video imitating a famous scene from the popular television series The Office.

Parker is no stranger to being featured in popular videos that showcase his funny personality. The 32-year-old from New Zealand recently challenged Dillian Whyte to a rematch, playfully singing along to Take That’s famous song, “Back for Good.”

Following his victory over Whyte, Parker turned his attention to Anthony Joshua, with the accompaniment of Ed Sheeran’s song Lego House.

The previous WBO heavyweight world champion has once again performed a well-known song, this time from the repertoire of David Brent – the British counterpart of Michael Scott in the UK version of The Office.

Parker and his team reenact one of the series’ most iconic scenes, in which Brent surprises his colleagues during a training seminar by pulling out a guitar and belting out the catchy tune, “Free Love Freeway.”

In addition to sharing the video, Parker stated: “Our office meeting to discuss potential future fights was incredibly successful!”

Despite an improvement in his performance with victories over Zhilei Zhang and Deontay Wilder in his recent fights, Parker is still awaiting confirmation for his upcoming fight plans.

A potential rematch with Joshua remains a possibility, but AJ’s main focus is on the outcome of the Tyson Fury vs Oleksandr Usyk fight before considering a potential second fight with Parker.

In their previous encounter, Joshua emerged victorious against Parker. However, Parker’s notable displays against Zhang and Wilder have raised anticipation for a potential rematch of their 2018 clash in Cardiff.

Despite AJ’s previous victory by unanimous decision, the two fighters have emerged as one of the most highly anticipated matchups in the division after six years and if a agreement is made.
