Joseph Parker’s hilarious call out for Dillian Whyte rematch goes viral

In a rather unconventional manner, Joseph Parker has challenged his rival Dillian Whyte to a rematch in the heavyweight boxing division, earning the admiration of his fans.

Parker, a former WBO heavyweight world champion, is currently experiencing a resurgence in his career following unexpected victories against former WBC world champion Deontay Wilder and WBO interim world champion Zhilei Zhang.

Parker, who has a record of 35 wins and three losses against Anthony Joshua, Dillian Whyte, and Joe Joyce, is determined to seek redemption for one of those defeats.

With Joshua potentially next in line for a chance at the undisputed world title fight against the winner of Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk next month, and Joyce being pushed down the heavyweight rankings due to his recent losses to Zhang, Parker’s focus is now on securing a fight with Whyte.

Parker has opted to publicly confront him in a creative manner, filming a video of himself lip-syncing to Take That’s popular song “Back for Good”.

Parker makes use of the line “I have a picture of you beside me”in the video, as he turns to a photo of Whyte. He then goes on to reference the next line, “I’ve got your lipstick marks still on my coffee cup,”as he holds up a mug with Whyte’s nickname, “Body Snatcher,”boldly printed on the front.

Parker tweeted out the video to his followers along with a message that stated, “Dillian Whyte, I want you back for good. However, if that is not possible, I will have to move on.”

Parker’s unconventional call out was well-received by boxing enthusiasts who expressed their admiration in the comments. One fan even declared it as the “best call out ever,”while another fan praised Parker as one of the most amiable figures in the boxing world.

Whyte has not yet responded to the call out on social media, but it is expected that he will welcome the bout as he continues on his journey towards another world title shot.

Despite his age, the 35-year-old boxer still had hopes of winning a world title. However, those hopes were dashed in 2022 when he faced Fury at Wembley Stadium for the WBC belt and was ultimately knocked out, resulting in defeat.

After a 14-month hiatus, Whyte made his return to the ring last month and secured a stoppage victory over Christian Hammer.
