According to reports, a collaboration between Jujutsu Kaisen 0 and Fortnite is currently in development. However, it appears that one key character may be absent from the collaboration.
Jujutsu Kaisen has achieved a remarkable feat as the most sought-after animated series globally, which is evident from its immense popularity worldwide. The prequel film, Jujutsu Kaisen 0, has also achieved great success in Japan and is said to be in talks for a collaboration with the popular game Fortnite.
According to leaks from Wensoing, it has been reported that the highly anticipated game will soon feature the main characters of Jujutsu Kaisen 0. Fans can expect to see Yuta Okkotsu, Maki, and Panda, although specific details about the project have not been revealed yet.
The report on this collaboration highlights the noticeable absence of a major character. While the protagonist Yuta and his two classmates will be featured in the game, the third member of their class, Toge Inumaki, appears to be missing.
Wensoing stated that there is currently no information available regarding Toge’s involvement in the Jujutsu Kaisen 0 x Fortnite collaboration. However, it is possible that his participation may be announced at a later time, but nothing can be confirmed at this point.
Toge is a significant character in both Jujutsu Kaisen 0 and the main series, playing a crucial role in the movie. Along with his classmates, he is featured in both the film and the main series. His cursed technique is highly intriguing and stands out as one of the most captivating powers in Jujutsu Kaisen.
Toge’s Cursed Speech enables him to control others with a single word, using his cursed energy to infuse his voice. As a result, he has a unique quirk of speaking solely with the ingredients found in onigiri.
Despite his significant popularity among the anime’s fanbase, the fact that he was not included in the Jujutsu Kaisen 0 x Fortnite collaboration is quite perplexing. This has caused dissatisfaction among fans, as expressed by one Reddit user who questioned the exclusion of Toge Inumaki despite the inclusion of his fellow characters.
“Another user commented, expressing their honest expectations. They also mentioned wanting Geto, but admitted it felt strange to not get Toge as well.”
Despite the disappointment surrounding Toge’s absence from the project, there is also a great deal of enthusiasm about the collaboration. Panda has quickly gained popularity among fans of both Jujutsu Kaisen and Fortnite. Many are hoping to see prominent characters such as Suguru Geto and Toji Fushiguro make an appearance in the next phase.
Prior to the upcoming Jujutsu Kaisen 0 x Fortnite collaboration, the game had already partnered with the well-known anime. This joint venture, named “Break the Curse!”, was unveiled in 2023 and featured the four lead characters from the show: Yuji, Megumi, Nobara, and Gojo.
