Chapter 252 of Jujutsu Kaisen will feature the confrontation between Maki and Sukuna, but its publication has been delayed: why?
The final chapter of Jujutsu Kaisen once again ended in unbearable suspense, as Maki appeared to skewer Sukuna. The all-powerful king of scourges only notices the presence of the young woman once he is hit, but the rest of the fight risks becoming more powerful.
Especially since the stakes continue to increase: after a close confrontation between Yuta, Rika, Yuji and Sukuna, Gojo’s former students were cut up. They absolutely need time to recover and resume their attempt to save Megumi, and this time will certainly be given to them by Maki.
Unfortunately for readers, Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 252 will not be released this week. Why was its publication postponed?
Why won’t there be Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 252 this week?
Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 252 will be released on March 3. It will not be included in the Shonen Jump issue coming out on February 25. The magazine is not taking a break this week, so the delay is due to author Gege Akutami’s schedule.
Like most mangakas, Gege Akutami takes a short break every three weeks. Jujutsu Kaisen has just published three chapters in a row: 249, 250 and 251. It is therefore time for the author to catch his breath.
It’s not uncommon for manga artists to take regular breaks from big franchises like Jujutsu Kaisen or One Piece. Ideally, they allow the author to rest, but are generally used to devote time to adaptation projects or to do research that will inform the story or the drawings.
