Jujutsu Kaisen once again delivered a thrilling chapter last week, allowing readers to hear from all the characters while showing the start of the fight against Maki and Sukuna. The fight with Yuji and Yuta ended in pain, and the two young people will not immediately be ready to return to the front together.

Maki takes on the King of Scourges one-on-one, and it seems like she’s holding her own. We also witness the return of Choso after an absence of several weeks. At this point, Sukuna has faced almost every character in Jujutsu Kaisen. However, despite their combined strength, the damage dealt is no match for that caused by Gojo alone. While Chapter 252 ends with a dangerous look from Sukuna, Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 253 might reveal more about the true power of the King of Banes.

After all, even at this point, the most powerful character in history has yet to show the full extent of his powers. As for the exorcists, there aren’t many left with enough strength to fight the monster. Yuta is out of the game, while the others are either dead or injured. Even Hakari is keeping Uraume at bay, and therefore cannot reach no man’s land for the moment.
