In chapter 255 of Jujutsu Kaisen, it is revealed that Miguel has successfully rescued Atsuya Kusakabe and Ui Ui, with the help of Larue who has joined them. Larue is seen using his Cursed Technique to hold Kusakabe in what looks like a hand. The chapter then takes us back to a flashback in Africa, where Yuta Okkotsu and Larue are persuading Miguel to be prepared to fight Sukuna in case Satoru Gojo is defeated by him.

Despite Miguel’s strong rejection, stating that Gojo and Sukuna are beyond the realm of monsters, Larue argues that he could simply come in to clean up after Sukuna is exhausted from fighting Gojo. However, Miguel remains skeptical of the idea that Sukuna could reach such a state. Yuta interjects, highlighting the fact that the consequences of the mass merger with Tengen will extend beyond Japan. Nevertheless, Miguel maintains that whatever occurs as a result is still better than facing Sukuna in battle.

In chapter 255 of Jujutsu Kaisen, Miguel questions whether “energetic black people”can simply overcome any obstacle, stating that he feels a responsibility to protect his fellow countrymen. Larue admits he has never seen Miguel as a cheerful person, but Miguel persists by mentioning that Gojo should be humbling himself before Miguel, as is customary for the polite Japanese people.

Yuta volunteers to prostrate himself, causing Larue to request a private conversation with Miguel. Larue expresses his plan to make Suguru Geto the “king”just as Miguel had done in the past. Miguel admits to playing along with Geto’s plans because it was him, and also reveals that Yuta’s training helped him avoid paying his dues for surviving Shinjuku. He then mentions that he no longer has any personal investment in Japan’s survival and only cares about his own self-interest.

In Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 255, Larue mentions their former comrades, leading Miguel to question if Larue plans to seek vengeance for Shibuya or retrieve Geto’s body from Kenjaku. However, Larue clarifies that their goal is to honor their fallen comrades together by fighting Sukuna, rather than visiting their graves. Miguel notes that Larue likely meant hell and ultimately agrees to support Larue’s decision.

Despite this, he insists that he will only join the fight after Gojo and Yuta have both been defeated and Sukuna is no longer able to use his Domain Expansion. Larue expresses confusion as to why he is being asked to participate, but Miguel explains that the more people they have on their side, the better. The attention then shifts back to the present, with Miguel and Larue confirming that Sukuna’s Domain has been sealed and his Reverse Cursed Technique is weakened, his limbs severely damaged, and his heart still unhealed.

In Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 255, Miguel expresses his remorse as he realizes the others have already taken care of the most “delicious”part of the battle. As the fight commences, a building unexpectedly collapses and Larue is the first to confront Sukuna using his Cursed Technique. Despite briefly pinning Sukuna against a wall, Larue is soon targeted by Dismantle. This prompts Miguel to join in and effortlessly dodge Sukuna’s attacks.

Larue is taken aback by the narrator’s explanation of his Cursed Technique, known as “Heart Catch,”which enables him to grasp a target with a phantom hand. This hand can be recreated endlessly even if it is destroyed, and only a small portion of the damage is reflected back onto Larue. Sukuna remarks that Larue’s Cursed Technique is uninteresting in his opinion, as the narrator shifts to describing Miguel Oduol’s Cursed Technique, Hakuna Laana.

The latest chapter of Jujutsu Kaisen, chapter 255, discloses that Miguel possesses a unique ability where his body emits a rhythm that can expel Curses, including Cursed Techniques, and also boosts his own physical prowess. This triggers a flashback where Gojo enlightens Yuta about Miguel’s Technique, which can apply buffs and debuffs without needing a domain, deeming it to be more advantageous than frightening.

Gojo explains that Miguel’s combination of buffs, physique, and muscle mass are rare in Japan, making him a formidable and intimidating sorcerer. Miguel, however, confronts Gojo’s statement, accusing him of being racist and stereotyping all Japanese sorcerers. Miguel firmly states that his abilities and strength come from his own unique traits, not his ethnicity. Realizing his mistake, Gojo apologizes, and Yuta questions if Gojo’s use of the word “frightening”also includes him.

In Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 255, Gojo states that in a bare knuckle fight without the use of Cursed Techniques, he would win the marathon while Miguel would win the sprint due to their respective strengths in endurance and speed. This leads to a shift back to the present, where Miguel successfully blocks Sukuna’s Cursed Technique and seizes the chance to deliver a powerful punch.

After returning to the battlefield, Choso makes another attempt to attack Sukuna from behind. But Sukuna manages to dodge, and just as he does, Yuji appears and lands a powerful punch on him. The narrator clarifies that in order to activate the World Bisecting Slash, one must use the same hand sign as the Malevolent Shrine, known as Enmaten.

Sukuna’s Binding Vow for activating the move in chapter 255 of Jujutsu Kaisen is confirmed to have been used against Satoru Gojo due to his missing arm, which is necessary for forming the required hand sign. It is also revealed that the trajectory of the Technique must be determined by the positioning of Sukuna’s palms, a detail that becomes crucial when his two left arms are unexpectedly severed.

It is later discovered that Maki was responsible for the situation, as she appears again with a fierce grin even though she had consumed a Black Flash just moments ago. Yuji then realizes that Sukuna is unable to perform the hand sign for the World Bisecting Slash using only their right arm, and that his Reverse Cursed Technique has yet to be restored.

In chapter 255 of Jujutsu Kaisen, Yuji expresses his belief that they can now emerge victorious, as their plan and efforts have finally converged. However, Sukuna interrupts with a second Black Flash attack on Larue. The narrator reminds readers of Gojo’s regained Reverse Cursed Technique output, which was achieved by landing a second Black Flash. This hints at a potential reveal of what Sukuna has also regained, as the issue concludes with him wearing a confident smile.

Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 255: Final Thoughts

Despite the ominous and potentially catastrophic ending, it is still thrilling to witness Yuji and his companions make a grand return to the battlefield. Yet, if Sukuna’s second Black Flash yields the same results as Gojo’s, their predicament will become even more dire in the upcoming issue.
