Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 260: Yuji and Todo Overpower Sukuna as The Strongest Sorcerer Returns

Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 260: Yuji and Todo Overpower Sukuna as The Strongest Sorcerer Returns

Over the weekend, the latest chapter of Jujutsu Kaisen, chapter 260, was officially released through various Shueisha platforms. It continued from the previous cliffhanger of Gege Akutami’s original manga series, providing answers to fans’ questions about Aoi Todo’s unexpected comeback and solidifying the Boogie Woogie Cursed Technique as one of the strongest in the series.

The most noteworthy moment of Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 260 occurs at the end, where Satoru Gojo seems to have made a full recovery and is back in the midst of battle. Although it has not been officially confirmed, this is an exhilarating development that will have significant consequences for the upcoming events. It remains to be seen if it is truly Gojo or just a near-death hallucination induced by Sukuna.

In Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 260, the focus shifts to Aoi Todo’s new “hand,”which is revealed to be a percussion instrument known as the Vibraslap. This instrument is made up of two parts – a metal ball and a wooden box containing metal teeth. When the ball strikes the box, the metal teeth vibrate vigorously, creating a unique sound.

The new activation condition for Todo’s Cursed Technique involves him “playing”the instrument by causing a collision between the wooden box and the metal teeth. This is a change from his previous method of clapping his hands. This alteration in the activation process allows him to use his Cursed Technique approximately fifty times per second, resulting in a roulette-like exchange each time.

In chapter 260 of Jujutsu Kaisen, Todo is able to halt the activation of the Technique by seizing the wooden box, giving him the ability to manipulate the exchanges and achieve his desired outcome. He later employs the technique again to enable Yuji to successfully strike Sukuna, as the narrator reveals the Binding Vow Todo made in order to create the Re-Boogie Woogie.

The Binding Vow restricts the number of exchanges based on the Vibraslap’s vibrations, while also allowing for multiple targets and an increased effective range. With the assistance of Yuta Okkotsu at the Lake Gosho colony, Todo perfected the updated version of the Technique. The narrator confirms that Todo successfully rescued the allies who were trapped in the Malevolent Shrine, indicating that Maki Zen’in and Takuma Ino are both safe and unharmed.

In chapter 260 of Jujutsu Kaisen, Sukuna remarks that Todo’s eccentricity is unmatched and calls him the most troublesome of all sorcerers. Todo then uses his Cursed Technique to switch places with Sukuna, noting that Sukuna is able to dodge in midair. To surprise Sukuna, Yuji throws a rock, which Todo then swaps with Yuji, allowing Yuji to land two hits on Sukuna.

Despite Sukuna’s attempt to grab and toss Yuji, Todo quickly intervenes, using his Technique to swap him once more. Sukuna takes a moment to study Todo’s Technique, realizing the difficulty in adapting to this unique form of Boogie Woogie and Todo’s precise control over it. However, Sukuna admits that there is one instance where he can predict Todo’s timing, which becomes evident as Yuji lands a powerful punch, sending Sukuna flying.

Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 260: Foresight and Past Pests

Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 260 reveals that Sukuna has come to understand that Yuji has become even more skilled in combat. Sukuna believes that Todo is planning to use a feint, but instead, Todo surprises him by switching places with one of Mei Mei’s crows. Sukuna makes a move to attack the crow, assuming that Todo will also swap himself with Yuji, but this does not happen.

Despite Todo’s observation on the complexity of Yuji’s attack, he is still able to successfully land a Black Flash on Sukuna. Yuji then proceeds to thrust his claw-like hands into Sukuna’s chest, appearing to inflict even greater harm. Yet, Sukuna remains calm and focused enough to activate his Domain Expansion, locking eyes with Yuji as he does so.

The narrator in Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 260 reveals that despite his Cursed Energy level being reduced to that of Yuta’s, his efficiency remains unmatched. Furthermore, he could easily use Domain Expansion multiple times if he were to regain his depleted Cursed Technique. As he activates his Domain Expansion, it appears that Yuji and Todo’s fate is sealed.

Despite just speaking, Sukuna’s attention is immediately drawn to something on his left, emerging from the smoke on the battlefield. The narrator reveals that it is a vision of the man Sukuna himself buried, the renowned “strongest”Satoru Gojo. Fans are briefly shown the face of the person Sukuna sees in the final panels of the issue, and it bears a striking resemblance to Satoru Gojo against all odds.

Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 260: In Summation

Undoubtedly, the most significant development in Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 260 is the ending, as it holds great importance for Sukuna’s future. If this truly is Gojo’s revival, Sukuna’s destiny is practically set. However, even if it is only a vision before death, Akutami’s past utilization of this theme hints at the inevitable downfall of the King of Curses.

Despite this, the explanation behind Todo’s updated Boogie Woogie Cursed Technique, now known as Re-Boogie Woogie, is equally thrilling. It showcases a sorcerer’s ability to completely transform themselves and the core principles of their technique, and still emerge victorious despite making a Binding Vow.
