Through the Memory Lane:
While walking through a city-like landscape, Yuuji and Sukuna both come to the realization that this strange phenomenon is actually Yuuji’s domain. Following this revelation, Yuuji expresses his desire to speak with Sukuna and suggests they take a walk together.
During their journey through a tunnel, Yuuji decides to open up to Sukuna about his past. He takes Sukuna to a playground he frequented as a child and shares some of his painful memories associated with it. While there, Yuuji spots a flower and identifies it as an “Asagao”. However, Sukuna corrects him, stating that it’s actually called an “Ajisai”.
Sukuna reveals that he is aware of this information due to Megumi’s memories, but he quickly dismisses them as irrelevant. Following this, Sukuna and Yuuji spend their day fishing for crawfish and engage in a lighthearted argument over who caught the bigger catch.
After some time, they come across a vast field with lush greenery that extends as far as the eye can see. Yuuji continues to share his stories, reminiscing about his grandpa, horses, and even his love for ice cream. Despite Sukuna’s presence, the conversation remains light and wholesome.
Following this, Yuuji and Sukuna engage in an archery competition, in which Sukuna achieves a perfect score. Yuuji can’t help but feel envious, but he understands that it’s only natural given Sukuna’s experience as an archer.
When Old Stories Became Boring:
After enduring Yuuji’s constant chatter, Sukuna grew tired and demanded that Yuuji get to the point. Yuuji then revealed that he had already shown most of what he wanted to show.
Yuuji explains that every individual possesses an inherent worth, regardless of their occupation or familial relationships. He believes that the memories they hold onto are what give meaning to life, whether they are simply performing mundane tasks or spending time with loved ones.
Despite his hatred towards Sukuna for not valuing life, Yuuji still felt the need to express his feelings to him. Sukuna, on the other hand, acknowledged Yuuji’s words as truth, but remained emotionally detached from the idea.
When Things Got Intense:
After coming to the realization that the conversation was futile, Yuuji also understands that Sukuna was completely void of any goodness. At this moment, Sukuna becomes aware that Yuuji is feeling sorry for him, causing him to become furious.

Despite both Itadori and Sukuna continuously clashing with each other and neither showing any signs of backing down, the next chapter is sure to be filled with intense action.
With Itadori’s expanded domain, he is likely to have the advantage as long as Sukuna does not destroy Yuuji’s domain. However, the latest chapter, 264, revealed that Sukuna has regained his curse output, which could pose a threat to Yuuji if his domain is not strong enough.
