Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 268: Gojo Reveals the Truth About Megumi’s Father
According to the supposed spoilers for Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 268, the upcoming chapter will be titled ‘CONCLUSION.’ The manga opens with Sukuna confronting Megumi’s soul and attempting to crush his spirit. He questions Megumi on his audacity to continue living after sacrificing his body, murdering his own sister, and rejecting the help offered to him. Sukuna then urges the Jujutsu Sorcerer to surrender and let him take control.
Megumi confronted Sukuna, questioning his desperation despite there still being one Sukuna finger remaining. He reminded Sukuna that if the process of becoming a cursed object was predetermined, the moment Yuji removed the last finger, Sukuna would die. Even the Resonance technique would not work in his favor. Therefore, Megumi realized that if 19 of Sukuna’s fingers were removed, the last one would not have any effect on connecting his soul. This realization brought Megumi a sense of relief, knowing that even Sukuna feared death.
Afterward, Megumi revealed that he had never planned on living a conventional life. However, realizing that there were many others besides himself, he made a commitment to live for someone else once again.
As Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 268 spoilers continued, the events shifted back to reality. The collapse of Yuji’s domain caused Sukuna’s reincarnation within Megumi’s body to dissolve. The King of Curses let out a piercing scream as he was forcibly separated from Megumi’s body. Finally, Megumi Fushiguro was released from Sukuna’s grasp.
Immediately after, spoilers for chapter 268 of Jujutsu Kaisen showed Yuji observing Sukuna’s remnants and questioning his intentions. The manga also featured a flashback of Yuji pleading with Sukuna to release Fushiguro in exchange for sparing the King of Curses’s life.
“Sukuna, You’re Me.”
Yuji gathered Sukuna’s remnants and reflected on how they were both unknowingly born with a curse. The type of monster they would have become was purely a matter of chance. Yuji, with the support of his grandfather, remained steadfast. So, he proposed to Sukuna that they give living together another chance. Even if no one else would welcome him, Yuji was determined to continue living alongside him.
Sukuna was furious at Yuji’s attempts to console him and praised him for pretending to be foolish. In doing so, he warned Yuji not to underestimate him as he was a powerful curse.
After revealing spoilers for Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 268, the focus shifted to the final moments of the Uraume vs. Hakari battle. Uraume came to the realization that Sukuna had been defeated, prompting Hakari to inquire about their next move. Uraume responded by stating that it was all over and nothing held any significance anymore.
Despite Sukuna’s incredible power, his defeat could only be attributed to the fact that he was inhabiting an ‘Incarnated’ body. According to Uraume, luck was the determining factor in the Jujutsu Sorcerers’ victory, as they were fortunate enough to be born a thousand years after Sukuna. Hakari saw luck as a valuable skill and considered Uraume’s agreement with this mindset as the ultimate form of praise. As a result, Uraume ultimately accepted Hakari’s perspective and disappeared.
After the Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 268 spoilers, the scene changed to Megumi waking up at Jujutsu Tech. As he regained consciousness, he was bewildered by the actions of Yuji and Nobara. They appeared to be plotting a surprise for Megumi, revealing that Kugisaki had also survived. This was reminiscent of the time Gojo had surprised Megumi and Nobara with the news of Yuji’s survival in the past.
Nobara pointed out that despite being considered the class Madonna and presumed dead, she was surprised that Yuji and Megumi did not have a stronger reaction. However, in the spoilers for Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 268, Yuji admitted that he did feel emotional when he realized Sukuna had been affected by Resonance. On the other hand, Megumi was not shocked by the event as he had already witnessed a similar occurrence within Sukuna.
Nobara and Megumi were both surprised to see Gojo writing letters, as it seemed out of character for him. However, Megumi soon realized that there were only two letters, and Yuji did not receive one since he had spoken to Gojo in person.
Nobara quickly tore open her letter and upon reading its contents, crumpled it up in an instant. She revealed that it held information regarding her mother’s whereabouts, something she had no interest in knowing about. Afterward, Nobara inquired if Yuji had also received a letter with Special Grade authority, but Megumi burst into laughter as he read his own letter.
Yuji and Nobara were intrigued by Megumi’s letter and decided to read it. However, they were shocked by its contents. As Megumi’s letter was unfolded, he couldn’t help but burst into genuine laughter.
“Unfortunately your father isn’t around anymore – because I killed him!! Sorry!!”
Nobara suddenly recalled that they were supposed to meet up with Maki and the rest of their friends, and she invited Megumi to join them. Yuji also mentioned his desire to apologize and express his gratitude to everyone for their involvement in saving Yuta Okkotsu’s life. As the manga shifted to focus on Maki, Toge, Panda, Kusakabe, Miwa, and Momo, Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 268 spoilers concluded with someone shouting, “YUTA, YOU DAMN BASTARD,”causing Megumi to become anxious.
