Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 269 spoilers: Yuji’s secret to mastering the Simple Domain
Jujutsu Kaisen fans should note that the usual spoiler-leaking structure was not followed this week, so we aim to clearly present the chapter 269 spoilers based on available summaries.
The chapter 269 spoilers indicate that Yuta Okkotsu managed to recover his original body after switching to Satoru Gojo’s body. This was possible because Rika protected Yuta’s original body using Reverse Cursed Technique.
Maki and other sorcerers expressed their relief over Megumi Fushiguro’s return and inquired about his condition. However, Megumi was still affected by the Infinite Void, leaving him in a daze.
As the spoilers continued, Megumi apologized for the chaos he had caused, prompting Atsuya Kusakabe to interject. Kusakabe reminded Megumi that he was among those who initially wanted Yuji Itadori assassinated, indicating that following through on that plan could have avoided the significant battle. He encouraged Megumi and others to stop apologizing and behave like themselves.
The chapter also revealed discussions among the Jujutsu sorcerers about their battle. They noted that while using Inumaki’s voice recorder could have shortened the fight, only one recorder was available, which Yuta was using. Aoi Todo also played a crucial role in helping Yuta ambush Kenjaku.
The section of chapter 269 spoilers then detailed that Higurama survived as well. Furthermore, the gauntlet used by Yuji in the battle was revealed to be one of Yuta’s Cursed Tools. In a twist, the TV room that everyone occupied during the battle was actually a space inside Rika, allowing them to attack Ryomen Sukuna and Uraume right after Gojo’s defeat.
In his commentary, Aoi Todo noted that he was unable to save Yuji and Choso from Sukuna’s domain because they were positioned at its center. The concentration of Sukuna’s Cursed Energy made it challenging for Todo to grasp their cursed energy.
The chapter further explored how Yuji Itadori adeptly utilized the Simple Domain. As a student of New Shadow Style, he was obligated to comply with deployment orders from the Head, but there were additional layers to this training. A New Shadow Style student’s lifespan was absorbed by the Head using unknown means, which was a crucial limitation.
Only the Head possessed the ability to remove the Binding Vows and charms associated with becoming a New Shadow Style student, making tracking down their whereabouts impossible.
Fortunately, prior to the Shinjuku Showdown Arc, Mei Mei learned the location of the New Shadow Style Head from Tengen and subsequently removed them, establishing Kusakabe as the new head of the New Shadow Style. This action allowed Kusakabe to dismantle the charms restricting the Simple Domain and absorbing lifespans, enabling sorcerers like Yuji Itadori to learn how to utilize Simple Domain to defend against Sukuna.
