The Shinjuku Showdown Arc in the Jujutsu Kaisen manga is drawing to a close as the intense battle against Sukuna reaches its finale. Here are all the details.
The ongoing Jujutsu Kaisen manga showcases the ultimate showdown between Yuji and Sukuna. Despite the intense fight, the determined young sorcerer remains steadfast in his goal to rescue his friend Megumi Fushiguro. Additionally, he has devised a plan to defeat Sukuna once the formidable villain has been significantly weakened by the prolonged confrontation.
Ever since the Gojo vs Sukuna fight, the antagonist has been facing off against Kashimo, Yuji, Higuruma, Maki, Choso, Ino, Kusakabe, and Yuta. Each one has contributed to the battle, and now it is up to Yuji to deliver the final blow.
Nevertheless, Sukuna remains determined and shows no signs of surrender. As stated by the editor’s note at the conclusion of Chapter 266, the ongoing battle will conclude next week.
The final showdown between Sukuna and Yuji in the Shinjuku Showdown Arc will conclude in Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 267 on August 25, 2024. It should be noted that this date only marks the release of the Shinjuku fight finale and not the entire manga.

Another individual adds, “In my opinion, the recent chapters have been somewhat lacking in excitement. The battles depicted don’t quite live up to the level of anticipation set by the Gojo versus Sukuna matchup.”
Another fan expresses their excitement, stating that with hype levels through the roof, the possibilities for the upcoming OG trio reunion, Yuji’s redemption arc, and Sukuna’s final stand are endless. They admit that their heart can’t handle the anticipation, but the ultimate question remains: will Gojo make a surprise appearance and steal the show?
Despite the expectation, the manga will not come to a sudden end after the fight. There is currently no confirmation on when the final chapter of the manga will be released.
