The following chapter uncovers the fact that Yuta has successfully taken control of Gojo’s body by mastering Kenjaku’s technique. In order to obtain Kenjaku’s cursed technique, Rika consumes the body of Geto, who was previously possessed by Kenjaku. Sukuna is momentarily caught off guard when he realizes that it is actually Yuta inhabiting Gojo’s body. It is then revealed that Yuta had been planning to take over Gojo’s body from the very beginning. A flashback reveals that Maki and others had previously expressed their opposition to Yuta’s decision.

Despite Hakari’s assertion that Yuta can only resort to this course of action after everyone has been eliminated, Kusakabe believes it to be inhumane. Yuta, on the other hand, considers the fate of Gojo, who was turned into a monster against his will. With Gojo absent and the fear of becoming a monster gripping everyone, Yuta believes it falls upon him to take on this responsibility.

Despite Yuta’s cursed technique allowing him to replicate any technique for a duration of five minutes, the outcome after this time frame is unknown. With him currently inhabiting Gojo’s body, his ultimate destiny remains uncertain.

After being defeated by Sukuna in the first round, Shoko assists him in possessing Gojo’s body in order to utilize Six Eyes and Limitless. While there is a chance that he may survive, it is uncertain and difficult to determine.
