Jujutsu Kaisen fans planning a new manga to revise the conclusion

According to a recent announcement from the newly created X (formerly Twitter) account @jujutsunokaisen, a collective of Jujutsu Kaisen supporters has embarked on a creative endeavor to revise the manga’s ending. Since opinions vary regarding the official conclusion, this team aims to illustrate a new ending starting from chapter 236.

Promising exhilarating and engaging storylines, the team has assured fans of their commitment to accurately portraying characters and delivering quality artwork. They have dubbed this new installment “Jujutsu no Kaisen.”

Fans can stay updated on this project by following the team’s official social media outlets. Currently, they have only disclosed the release timeline for the first chapter of the new manga.

Jujutsu no Kaisen Chapter 1 is slated for release on Wednesday, January 1, 2025. It’s important to understand that this will not constitute a completely new manga, but rather a continuation of the original story beginning from chapter 236.

Recall that in the notable chapter 236, the storyline delivered the shocking demise of Satoru Gojo at the hands of the King of Curses, Ryomen Sukuna. Given that a significant portion of the chapter delved into Gojo’s afterlife, there is a possibility that the revised manga will reinterpret this death scene or even suggest that Gojo survived.

Additionally, fans can anticipate that the new series may delve deeper into character development. For instance, the return of Nobara Kugisaki and the Hakari vs. Uraume conflict faced substantial criticism, suggesting that these aspects will be further explored. There might also be a chance for a more detailed exposition of Kenjaku’s Merger plan as well as insights into Yuji Itadori’s domain.

However, it’s essential for fans to recognize that this kind of endeavor lacks official licensing. Therefore, should the manga gain significant acclaim, there is a risk that Shueisha could initiate legal proceedings against the creators, potentially halting the project before its narrative conclusion. As such, fans may want to proceed with caution regarding their involvement.
