Jujutsu Kaisen Fans Think a Character Needs to “Pull It Together”

Jujutsu Kaisen is known for making its characters suffer, with Gege Akutami’s work being filled with stories, each more tragic than the last. However, fans feel that one character in the manga in particular needs to “get his act together” .

If there’s one character in Jujutsu Kaisen that fans think should get their act together, it’s Megumi Fushiguro, one of the main characters in the plot. While he has had a decisive role in the narrative thus far, Megumi remained on the sidelines after Sukuna took control of his body towards the end of the Murderous Hunt Arc.

Since then, Megumi has barely made a significant appearance in the story. Although he was physically present, thanks to Sukuna controlling his body, his character was almost no longer involved in the story. And now that Sukuna has regained his original body, Megumi has almost completely disappeared from the plot, the latter no longer being as gripping as before according to some.

And while fans have been disappointed by Megumi’s diminishing role for some time, they also understand the tragedies the young exorcist has gone through. Because let’s remember, the character not only lost his sister, but also his mentor, his comrades and even lost most of the Shikigami (or familiars in French) from his famous Ten Shadows Technique. All of this contributed to Megumi losing the will to live, which is why he refused Yuji’s help.

However, fans also think it’s high time Megumi overcomes her trauma and makes a comeback. One fan shared his opinion on the matter on. ”

It therefore seems that some agree that it is time for Megumi to make his comeback in the plot of Jujutsu Kaisen, and that he can thus actively contribute to the story again.
