Jujutsu Kaisen Hints at Gojo’s Return with Subtle Clue

As the Jujutsu Kaisen manga approaches its conclusion, fans have observed a subtle clue that suggests the likelihood of Gojo’s return is higher than ever.

Despite his death, Gojo remains the most beloved character in Jujutsu Kaisen, even months later. His unexpected passing greatly impacted the fandom, and many still hold onto the possibility of his return. While most theories surrounding his potential comeback have been mere speculation, fans have recently been given a valid hint to keep their hope alive.

An exhibition for Jujutsu Kaisen was held at Shibuya Hakarie from 6 July to 27 August 2024. It showcased various details about the JJK characters, including their ages. For characters who have passed away, their age was labeled as “Age of Death.”However, in the sections for “deceased”characters Nobara and Gojo, their age was simply listed as “Age”instead of “Age of Death.”

Chapter 267 reveals Nobara’s return, providing an explanation for why her death was not confirmed during the exhibition. This only strengthens the likelihood of Gojo’s potential comeback in the remaining four chapters of Jujutsu Kaisen.

Based on the fan’s statement, it seems that Nobara’s return and Gojo’s hope were highly anticipated. Some Japanese fans also mentioned that while her return may have been hyped, it was not completely unexpected, especially since the exhibition never explicitly stated that she had passed away. Additionally, the Avant MV hinted at the use of a resonance on a finger.

In the exhibition, it has been confirmed that Gojo was not labeled as deceased, unlike the others who were given an age of death. In the avant MV, the six eyes are shown emerging from the darkness in a later sequence. This could suggest that, like Nobara, there is a possibility of Gojo’s return.

A fan states, “I agree! The fact that Gojo and Nobara are not labeled as dead in the exhibition suggests something. Since Nobara’s return has been confirmed, it is possible that Gojo will also make a comeback, especially with the Six Eyes appearing in the MV.”
