Jujutsu Kaisen has finally revealed Yuta’s territory expansion, and it could well be the most powerful of all: we explain how it works.
Yuta Okkotsu is easily one of the strongest characters in Jujutsu Kaisen. Even before his first appearance in the main story, he could already count on a large fan base thanks to the prequel film. Not to mention that his reputation precedes him: he is mentioned long before his appearance in the story, presented as a monster in battle, and he is the only special class exorcist of his generation, in addition to being a distant relative of Satoru Gojo.
A big CV therefore, and its powers should not be taken lightly. His sensei, himself considered the most powerful exorcist of his time, constantly announced that Yuta had everything it took to surpass him. After the Parade of Plagues, however, the young man was sent to Africa, disappearing from radar to train with Miguel.
But his absence does not last more than a year, because Yuta returns to Japan to witness the end of the Shibuya Drama. He therefore participates in the Murderous Hunt, and readers only expected one thing when he reappeared: to discover his extension of territory, announced several times… never to appear completely in Gege Akutami’s manga.

Jujutsu Kaisen: Explanation of Yuta’s Territory Expansion, “True Love and Simulated Love”
The exorcist’s territory is a space filled with geometric structures and katanas: everything is demarcated by ropes connected in a pattern reminiscent of the theme of love. Inside, Yuta can pick up any katana, and use occult techniques without restriction.

A Jujutsu Kaisen leaker has shared chapter 250 spoilers, explaining more about the expansion. According to the narrator’s translation of the explanation, “Yuta’s territory, ‘True love and pretend love,’ allows him to select an innate technique that he has copied, and apply it with an absolute chance of success within of his domain.”
“The other techniques are found randomly in the katanas present inside the territory, and only Yuta can use their abilities. Okkotsu doesn’t know what technique resides inside a katana until he has it in his hand. The katana disappears after one use, but there is no limit to the number of katanas.”
In chapter 250 of Jujutsu Kaisen, Sukuna tallies up the techniques that Yuta copied. But it is unknown how many character spells the young exorcist keeps in reserve. After all, he traveled before returning to Japan, honing his skills alongside Miguel in Africa.
