Jujutsu Kaisen manga announces final chapter, and it’s coming very soon

The finale release date for the Jujutsu Kaisen manga has been announced, bringing it closer to its final chapter than ever before. Here’s everything you need to know.

The final arc of the Jujutsu Kaisen manga commenced in May 2023, showcasing the ultimate battle between the strongest fighters. The fight against the villains persists, even following Gojo’s demise, and now, with Kenjaku’s defeat, the time has come for Sukuna to meet his ultimate fate.

Shonen Jump has recently announced that the highly anticipated Jujutsu Kaisen ending will conclude in just five chapters. According to their announcement, Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 271 will be released on September 30, 2024. As of now, the intense battle between Yuji and Sukuna continues, while Chapter 266 also showcases Megumi’s fierce fight against the formidable King of Curses.

In regards to the conclusion, Gege Akutami, creator of Jujutsu Kaisen, has announced, “The story will be wrapping up in just 5 more chapters. I am grateful for the support and cooperation of my readers, as it has allowed me to end the story in the way I envisioned. Thank you! I am putting all my efforts into crafting a final chapter that will hopefully satisfy the many fans who have supported Jujutsu Kaisen. So please, bear with me!”

Many fans were taken aback and had varying responses to the conclusion. One fan expressed, “I’m confused, did the author dislike us? How is everything supposed to be resolved in only five chapters? What about Tengen and Sukuna’s backstories? It feels like Kenjaku’s planning was all for nothing.”

Someone else commented, stating that the ending was rushed and could have been better if the story had been extended with an additional 50 chapters. This could have potentially made it one of the best things ever.

“The foreshadowing was all for naught. The characters, particularly Kenjaku, have been completely ruined. The merger should have happened, so what was the point of the entire Culling Games? Gege completely ruined it. According to another source, the main focus of JJK now seems to be teaching Sukuna about love.”
