Recently, Shonen Jump hinted at a major announcement, leading fans to hope for a potential Part 2. While some speculated that the news would be something underwhelming like a popularity poll, the milestone achieved by Jujutsu Kaisen in just a few years is undoubtedly worthy of celebration.
Currently, only 22 other manga series have surpassed 100 million copies in circulation, including My Hero Academia and Demon Slayer. Nonetheless, the news has garnered mixed reactions from fans.
One fan remarked, “Understandable. 100 million copies is fantastic! Concepts that perform well have the highest likelihood of renewal, sequels, and additional merchandise, etc.”
