Jujutsu Kaisen Manga Reaches Historic Milestone with Anticipated Finale

While the Jujutsu Kaisen manga has reached its conclusion, it has celebrated a significant achievement with a new announcement.

The final chapter of the Jujutsu Kaisen manga is approaching, stirring discussions among the fandom. Regardless of the ending’s reception by fans, it remains one of the most acclaimed manga series in recent years.

This manga currently encompasses 28 volumes, with Volumes 29 and 30 set to release later this year. Since its debut in 2018, its popularity has surged, particularly following the anime adaptation in 2020.

Thus, prior to the official announcement of the final chapter, Jujutsu Kaisen confirmed a significant sales milestone.

A leaker mentioned in a post on X/Twitter, “The ‘Happy Announcement’ was the achievement of 100 Million Copies in Circulation.”

Recently, Shonen Jump hinted at a major announcement, leading fans to hope for a potential Part 2. While some speculated that the news would be something underwhelming like a popularity poll, the milestone achieved by Jujutsu Kaisen in just a few years is undoubtedly worthy of celebration.

Currently, only 22 other manga series have surpassed 100 million copies in circulation, including My Hero Academia and Demon Slayer. Nonetheless, the news has garnered mixed reactions from fans.

One fan remarked, “Understandable. 100 million copies is fantastic! Concepts that perform well have the highest likelihood of renewal, sequels, and additional merchandise, etc.”

“Regardless of what anyone says, the last few chapters were okay, but JJK will always hold a special place in my heart,” said another fan.

“The way most of us knew not to get overly excited after MHA‘s announcement was a popularity poll,” added a third user.
