Although their interactions were limited in the story, Yuta’s attempt to kill Yuji and Yuki’s efforts to handle the chaos caused by Kenjaku at Shibuya marked a shift towards a more serious tone. Even after the main dangers had passed, their responsibilities forced them to take on separate roles and they were unable to cross paths again.

Yuki’s journey in the story came to an end during the Culling Game Arc when she was killed by Kenjaku. This has left fans feeling disappointed, as they wonder about the potential outcome if Yuki had not been killed and had the chance to fight alongside Yuji and Todo.
