Jujutsu Kaisen Part 2 Rumors End as Shonen Jump Takes Action

With the conclusion of the Jujutsu Kaisen manga, fans are filled with hope for a potential Part 2; however, Shonen Jump has not made any promises regarding a sequel.

The climactic battle against the King of Curses in Jujutsu Kaisen has reached its climax. Now, the series is set to resolve lingering plot threads, concluding this epic narrative. The final chapter is scheduled for release on September 30, 2024, marking the end with Chapter 271.

Despite this impending conclusion, many fans are not ready to say goodbye to their beloved series and are anxiously anticipating Jujutsu Kaisen Part 2. Speculation about a sequel intensified following a message from the editor hinting at a special announcement.

This announcement is expected to coincide with the release of the final chapter. One fan shared a screenshot from a TikTok video claiming, “‘With part 2 confirmed’,” which racked up 130,000 likes. The fan commented on the rumors, stating, “There’s an entire stupid side to this fandom which consumes JJK through rumors and straight-up lies.” Fortunately, these rumors have been clarified.

The account provided further details: “Regarding Editor Comments: There’s no official confirmation of any continuation or sequel for Jujutsu Kaisen in the preview of Weekly Shonen Jump Issue #44. We’ll keep updating with any potential news or announcements after the series concludes next week.”

Nevertheless, some fans remain optimistic about the prospect of a sequel. One fan expressed, “Why would they spoil the surprise in the preview? Patience guys, a sequel is bound to happen.”

“I literally refuse to believe that the final chapter of JJK is this week. I am such a believer in the Part 2 theories that if it doesn’t happen, it might break me,” commented another fan.

On the other hand, many fans are starting to resign to the idea that a Part 2 may not materialize. One such individual stated, “People thinking there’s gonna be a part 2 are coping so hard. Gege is very obviously done with this story, as seen in both the writing and the frequent breaks he took over the past couple of years.”

The Jujutsu Kaisen manga will be concluding in a few weeks, leading fans to wonder about the MVP of the final clash against the villains.
