Jujutsu Kaisen Reveals Another Character Survived the Attack That Led to Gojo’s Death

Jujutsu Kaisen manga has come to a close, but there’s an interesting development – another character has survived the same attack that earlier claimed Gojo’s life.

Jujutsu Kaisen Volume 28 is set to be released on October 5, 2024, featuring an enhanced depiction of the epic battle between Yuta and Sukuna, which appears significantly more refined than previous versions.

The new volume confirms that Sukuna employed the devastating World Cutting Slash against Yuta, resulting in the demise of the strongest sorcerer of the modern era. In the aftermath of Gojo’s and Sukuna’s deaths, Yuta emerges as the undeniable strongest character in Jujutsu Kaisen.

Notably, Yuta experienced a similar fate to Gojo, being cut in half; however, he survived due to Rika’s Reverse Cursed Technique.

The specifics of the attack that Yuta endured weren’t detailed in the weekly serialization, but leaks have now surfaced, demonstrating that the young sorcerer indeed displayed remarkable resilience.

In response to skepticism among fans regarding the legitimacy of it being a World Cutting Slash, the leaker elaborated, “There’s no need to utilize Chants plus Hand pointing unless it’s for World Slash. If Sukuna intended to execute a reinforced dismantle, it wouldn’t have penetrated, as it only provides a 20% increase from the low output. In contrast, World Slash negates durability.”

One fan commented, “Sometimes you can present the panels to people, and they still fail to grasp that it’s a World Cutting Slash. These are the four panels in question. He utilized the hand sign and chants during Yuji’s two-page dialogue, and then we observe a burnt hand directing the slash.”

“The amusing thing about this is that individuals will claim they don’t see the hand sign for WCS; however, it’s unnecessary to visualize it. He had both arms positioned, and we witnessed the chants. Then, we saw him pointing with one hand, implying he had freed his arms to perform both actions, and we see the culmination,” remarked another user.
