Jujutsu Kaisen spoilers reveal more about Yuji’s plan, whose objective has not changed: to bring back a character very popular with fans, using an unknown technique.
The hero of Jujutsu Kaisen is not always in the foreground, the author Gege Akutami having created a manga in which each character has its importance. But readers and spectators do not lose out: the exorcists and scourges who are at the heart of the plot never fail to unleash passions in the public.
However, the return of Yuji Itadori may have relieved many as the battle against Sukuna reached new heights. We now know that Yuji uses a very particular “soul technique” , and that he will team up with Yuta, another popular character, to attack Sukuna.
The goal? Beyond their desire to overcome the king of plagues, Gojo Satoru’s students mainly seek to save Megumi Fushiguro, and Yuji’s fate seems the most appropriate to achieve this, according to the spoilers of chapter 250 of Jujutsu Kaisen.
Yuji’s technique is the only way to save Megumi in Jujutsu Kaisen
From the beginning, Yuji’s goal is to save his classmate and friend. During his reappearance in the manga, his rescue plan is based on the extension of Hiromi Higuruma’s territory, and the familiar called Judgeman: by managing to condemn Sukuna, the creature offers the executioner’s sword to Hiromi, a relic which cannot strikes only the person subject to the death penalty.
Unfortunately, Yuji’s blow to Sukuna misses. As for Hiromi, he succumbs to his injuries. Just as the situation seems hopeless, Yuta appears, returning to no man’s land after killing Kenjaku. A new plan comes into play, and this time, Yuji’s soul technique will be important.
Chapter 250 spoilers tell us that Yuji’s attacks damage Sukuna’s soul. They do not touch Megumi, because the exorcist manages to perceive his friend’s location and avoid him. While the young man attacks the king of plagues, Yuta tries to awaken Megumi’s consciousness, but fails, the high school student having sunk too deeply. The duo does not give up, however, and Sukuna realizes that he is losing more and more control of Megumi’s body with each blow from Yuji.
The king of plagues has still not regained his full abilities after the fight against Gojo: this is a flaw on which Yuji and Yuta rely, not stopping to deal blows despite Sukuna’s responses.
