Jujutsu Kaisen to reveal new project after Shinjuku finale

Jujutsu Kaisen’s manga is reaching its conclusion, however, a leaker has revealed that the franchise will be making an announcement about a new project next week.

As the Shinjuku Showdown Arc of Jujutsu Kaisen reaches its culmination, the focus remains on the sorcerer’s battle against Sukuna and Kenjaku. Though the main conflict centers around Sukuna, both Takaba and Yuta have emerged victorious in their fight against the ancient curse user.

Despite Sukuna and Yuji still engaged in battle, it is evident that their fight will soon come to an end. In May 2024, Jujutsu Kaisen revealed that the manga’s final arc or saga will be approaching. To commemorate the conclusion of the epic showdown, a new project will be unveiled.

Despite the hype surrounding MHA’s new project, fans are not very optimistic about it due to it only turning out to be a global popularity poll.

“One person wrote a reminder that MHA had promised a “huge announcement”after its end, which turned out to be a global popularity poll. They expressed hope that the build-up wouldn’t lead to disappointment.”

The Shinjuku finale will be commemorated by WSJ, as they have confirmed that Jujutsu Kaisen by Akutami Gege will grace the cover of Weekly Shonen Jump issue 39/2024, which will be released on August 26. This will also serve as promotion for the current “Inhuman Makyo Shinjuku Showdown!”and will feature a Lead Color Page. Additionally, details for the 4th Character Popularity Poll will also be unveiled.

A fan expressed their excitement for finally receiving the results of the popularity poll, which had been delayed for over two months after the voting period ended.

“Shinjuku Showdown was truly magnificent, and I will always hold it dear in my memory. I cannot wait to see how it all concludes in the upcoming chapters,”another person expressed on a post.

One commenter shared, “This makes me feel both excited and scared. It also seems to suggest that the next chapter will not focus on Uraume and Hakari, unless the author surprises us. This is truly the climax of the story, not just a comment from the editor.”
