In the battle against the strongest, Jujutsu Kaisen showcases Yuta’s Domain Expansion and explains its mechanics.
Despite being the sole remaining special-grade sorcerer, Jujutsu Kaisen’s Yuta Okkotsu is still considered to be one of the most powerful characters in the series. Despite not yet making an appearance in the main story, he already had a large fan following due to his role in the prequel movie. Yuta is the lone special-grade sorcerer among his peers and is also distantly related to Gojo.
It goes without saying that his abilities should not be underestimated. Gojo firmly believed that Yuta was one of his most promising students, with the potential to even surpass him. Following the Night Parade of the Hundred Demons, Gojo entrusted Yuta to Miguel and sent them to Africa to further develop his powers.
Upon completing his year of training in Africa, Yuta returns to Japan, but he is met with a grim reality. He arrives just after the conclusion of the Shibuya Incident, and is shocked by the devastating aftermath of the battle in Tokyo. Yuta joins forces with his fellow sorcerers in the Culling Game, currently engaged in a fierce battle against Sukuna in Shinjuku. The latest chapter unveils Yuta’s powerful Domain Expansion, with Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 250 providing an in-depth explanation. Warning: This article contains spoilers from the manga!
Jujutsu Kaisen: Yuta and the Power of “Authentic Mutual Love”Explained
In his realm, there are numerous cross-shaped constructions scattered throughout and encircled by ropes arranged in a romantic motif. Within this realm, he is free to wield any katana and employ any cursed techniques without limitations.
In Chapter 250 of Jujutsu Kaisen, it is revealed that Yuta possesses a Domain Expansion. This incredibly strong ability grants him the power to choose and execute a copied Cursed Technique with a guaranteed hit within his domain. The remaining techniques are stored within the domain’s katanas and can only be utilized by Yuta.
Despite this, the only downside is that he is unaware of the Cursed Technique residing within the Katana until he grasps it. Once the CT is utilized, the Katana disappears, but there is no restriction on the quantity of Katanas available.
Despite Sukuna being aware of the five known Cursed Techniques that Yuta has copied, it remains a mystery how many additional surprises the young sorcerer has up his sleeve for fans. Yuta spent nearly a year in Africa, training and improving his abilities alongside Miguel.
