July Singer Brand Reputation Rankings

The Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute conducted an analysis on singer brands for the period of June 27, 2024 to July 27, 2024, using 118,820,860 pieces of big data. The research focused on brand participation, media coverage, communication, and community analysis. This shows a 3.40% rise in comparison to the 114,908,472 pieces of data gathered in June.

The analysis is conducted using positive and negative ratios and reputation analysis algorithms.

The top 30 singer brand reputations for July 2024 are as follows: Lim Young Woong, BTS, Aespa, Psy, IVE, Day6, NCT, (G)I-DLE, Taeyeon, Red Velvet, RIIZE, SEVENTEEN, IU, LE SSERAFIM, Young Tak, Zico, Lee Chan Won, BABYMONSTER, ILLIT, TOURS, TWICE, QWER, BLACKPINK, BIBI, Lee Young Ji, STAYC, Jeong Dong Won, Ben, Jang Min Ho, and EXO.

Despite a 12.15% decrease from his brand reputation index of 8,287,506 in June, Lim Young Woong, who holds the first ranking, still has impressive scores in all categories including a participation index of 1,671,568, a media index of 2,062,674, a communication index of 1,785,392, and a community index of 1,761,110, resulting in an overall brand reputation index of 7,280,743.

Despite a 38.56% decrease from June, BTS maintains a strong brand reputation index of 5,559,232, with a participation index of 330,267, a media index of 1,418,862, a communication index of 1,743,513, and a community index of 2,066,589, ranking second overall.

In June, Aespa ranked third with a participation index of 329,857, a media index of 1,291,885, a communication index of 1,967,647, and a community index of 1,817,297, resulting in a brand reputation index of 5,406,686. This marks a 21.90% increase from their previous brand reputation index of 4,435,418.

Despite being ranked fourth, Psy has seen a significant increase in their brand reputation index, reaching 3,816,174 with a participation index of 169,918, a media index of 888,658, a communication index of 1,428,124, and a community index of 1,329,474. This marks a 77.86% growth from their previous index of 2,145,631 in June.

IVE, which holds the fifth spot, currently has a participation index of 411,604, a media index of 1,012,937, a communication index of 1,236,314, and a community index of 1,068,884. These factors contribute to a brand reputation index of 3,729,739, which reflects a decrease of 18.21% from its previous rating of 4,560,096 in June.

According to Director Gu Chang Hwan of the Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute, Lim Young Woong’s brand has maintained its top ranking in the analysis of singer brand big data for July 2024. The data shows a 3.40% increase from the previous month’s 114,908,472. A closer look at the data reveals a decrease of 14.45% in brand consumption, an increase of 12.34% in brand issues, an increase of 2.19% in brand communication, and an increase of 5.44% in brand spread.

He went on to say that Lim Young Woong’s brand, which has been steadily growing in popularity thanks to his devoted fanbase, took the top spot. BTS, whose solo album had a huge impact and garnered widespread attention, came in at second place. The sensational group Aespa, currently enjoying a surge in popularity, claimed the third spot. Psy, known for his iconic ‘Wet Show’ performances that are a staple at summer festivals, secured fourth place. Rounding out the top five was IVE, who have been enjoying a string of successful activities.
