On October 7, TenAsia reported exclusively that Jun Hyun-moo attended the second day of the “2024 2NE1 Welcome Back Concert in Seoul” alongside Jiwon. This event took place on October 5 at the Olympic Hall located in Olympic Park, situated in Songpa-gu, Seoul.
During the concert, Jun Hyun-moo sat beside Jiwon, both engrossed in the experience. He sported a khaki sweater and a beige cap, while Jiwon wore an off-shoulder white knit top along with a navy cap that partially hid her face. To maintain discretion, both of them wore masks, which made it challenging for fans to identify them. In a friendly gesture, Jun Hyun-moo introduced Jiwon to Key from SHINee, who was seated nearby, and they engaged in conversations throughout the performance.
This interaction was spotlighted by fans during a dance challenge segment of the concert. A camera focused on Jiwon, seated between Jun Hyun-moo and Key, and noticing Jiwon’s slight embarrassment, Jun Hyun-moo entertained the crowd by performing the “Dori Dori Techno Dance,” successfully drawing attention to himself instead. After the concert concluded, Jun Hyun-moo and Jiwon exited the venue together.
A representative from Pledis, Jiwon’s agency, confirmed to TenAsia, “It is true that Jiwon attended the 2NE1 concert with Jun Hyun-moo,” adding that “They share the same English instructor, prompting them to go together.” The representative also mentioned that their friendship blossomed through several mutual events, including award ceremonies and the MBC “Idol Star Athletics Championships.” However, it was emphasized that they are not romantically involved.
On that day, Jun Hyun-moo shared a social media post featuring a snapshot from the 2NE1 concert but focused solely on Key, purposefully excluding Jiwon from the frame. In the image, Jiwon, dressed in white, is only partially visible sitting between Jun Hyun-moo and Key.
Currently, Jun Hyun-moo is featured on various television programs such as MBC’s “I Live Alone,” tvN’s “Free 19,” MBC’s “The Manager,” KBS 2TV’s “Boss in the Mirror,” JTBC’s “Talk Pawon 25 O’Clock,” Channel A’s “Please Take Care of Your Grades: Teachers,” MBN’s “Jun Hyun-moo Plan 2,” TV Chosun’s “University Song Festival,” and SBS’s “Wow! Really? Unbelievable.”
Jiwon has also been in the spotlight lately, recently making a comeback with her group fromis_9, achieving remarkable success with their latest single “Supersonic,” which managed to land in Melon’s Top 10.
