Despite having 14 years of experience, Jung Eun-chae, who portrays prosecutor Kang So-young in the new ENA drama “Your Honor”, is facing criticism for her awkward acting. Fans have noticed that her performance in episodes 5 and 6 has caused a decrease in their interest in the drama, even though other cast members such as Son Hyun-joo, Kim Myung-min, and Jo Dan-ro have been praised for their seamless acting. Despite the show’s attempt to comprehensively portray her character, the issue lies in the fact that they dressed her in a short coat, had her smoke cigarettes, and swear. Prior to filming a drama, it is important for actors and actresses to experiment with different styles and costumes to accurately portray their characters. However, it appears that this process was either neglected or led in the wrong direction for “Your Honor.”Even if Jung’s acting had been outstanding, it would not have been enough to overshadow these superficial elements.
Despite receiving some compliments on her visuals, the majority of comments express disappointment with Kang So-young’s performance.
