Jung Hae-in Discusses His Action Scenes In “Veteran 2”: “I Was Fortunate To Film Them When I Was In The Best Physical Condition”

The press conference for the movie “Veteran 2″was held at I-Park Mall CGV in Yongsan, Seoul on August 20th at 11 a.m. It was attended by actors Hwang Jung-min, Jung Hae-in, and director Ryu Seung-wan.

He put in a great deal of practice and preparation, realizing the importance of having a strong foundation to properly execute the scenes. The actor was questioned about his water sliding scene in the trailer and he responded by saying, “Although the scene appeared to be quite intense, I took all necessary precautions during filming. This made me realize that there are safe ways to achieve the desired effect. As an actor, one must be brave and not let fear hinder their performance. When you act fearlessly, the outcome is usually successful. However, if you let fear control you even in safe situations, you may end up getting injured. I am pleased with how the scene turned out and I am satisfied with the end result.”

Director Ryu Seung-wan praised Jung Hae-in’s action acting, giving it a score of 9.99 out of 10. He did mention a minor issue, stating that Jung Hae-in moved too quickly at times, resulting in a 0.01 deduction. He explained, “There were instances when I had to ask him to slow down because he was moving too fast. He even used a technique that left his co-star breathless. I asked him why he was doing it, reminding him that it was just a movie and to simply act. But I was amazed by his strength and physique when I touched his arm. It was evident that he took great care of himself and put a lot of effort into his role
