As per the Good Data Corporation’s TV-OTT drama popularity survey for the second week of September, tvN’s “Love Next Door” has claimed the top position once again. For the second consecutive week, this popular drama dominated all metrics, including news, Voice of Netizen (VON), video clips, and social media, with Jung So-min also leading the cast popularity rankings.
When it comes to cast popularity, Jung So-min achieved the first position three times, while Jung Hae-in secured it twice, marking a total of five consecutive weeks that the “Love Next Door” cast has maintained the top ranking.
Following closely in second place, rising from third last week, is tvN’s “No Gain No Love” , which has garnered increasing popularity since its debut. This drama secured the top spot in the TV Monday-Tuesday drama category, with Kim Young-dae and Shin Min-ah ranking third and fourth, respectively, in cast popularity.
In third place, SBS’s “Good Partner” experienced a drop in popularity compared to the last week, while ENA’s “Your Honor” wrapped up in fourth place. Notably, in the final week, the sons of lead actors Son Hyun-joo and Kim Myung-min, Kim Do-hoon (12th) and Heo Nam-jun (16th), surpassed their fathers in the cast popularity rankings.
Following them, the dramas that ranked from fifth to tenth place include: TVING’s “Queen Woo” , JTBC’s “Romance in the House” , MBC’s “Black Out” , Apple TV+’s “Pachinko Season 2” , KBS2’s “Beauty and Mr. Romantic” , and Disney+’s new original drama “Seoul Busters” .
The survey carried out by Good Data Corporation for the second week of September encompassed TV dramas and OTT original dramas that aired or were scheduled to air between September 9 and September 15, 2024, along with the cast members of these series.
