Jung Young-joo made an appearance on SBS’s entertainment program “Same Bed, Different Dreams 2: You Are My Destiny”on July 15th.
After being in the entertainment industry for 31 years, actress Jung Young-joo recently appeared in the drama “Lovely Runner”as Sol’s mother. Given her experience playing various mother roles, the MCs posed a question to her about her preferred on-screen son-in-law among Cha Eun-woo, Ahn Hyo-seop, and Byun Woo-seok.
The actress chose Byun Woo-seok in response and referred to him as “the most recent one, son-in-law Byun”.
In reference to Byun Woo-seok, Jung Young-joo disclosed that during their work, he addressed her as ‘senior’, but in private conversations, he would refer to her as ‘mom’, indicating their close and relaxed relationship.
When inquired about the types of discussions they frequently had, Jung Young-joo responded, “Actors often experience burnouts while performing, correct?”and went on to mention, “Byun Woo-seok expressed concerns about being stagnant. He questioned his skills and admitted that he wasn’t sure if he was doing well.”
In the subsequent episode of “Same Bed, Different Dreams 2”, viewers were given a glimpse into the daily routine of actor Ahn Se-ha and his wife Jeon Eun-ji. Interestingly, Jeon Eun-ji also experienced symptoms of ‘Byun Woo-seok’s disease’ after watching “Lovely Runner”. The panelists were taken aback when they learned that Ahn Se-ha and Byun Woo-seok, who plays Seon-jae in the drama, are five years apart in age.
