Juno is classified as a Support Hero, marking the first addition to this category since Illari’s release in August 2023. Here’s a breakdown of her complete kit:
- Mediblaster (Primary Weapon): A burst-fire weapon that heals allies while inflicting damage on enemies.
- Pulsar Torpedoes: Homing projectiles that heal allies over time and damage foes.
- Glide Boost: A horizontal glide maneuver that enhances movement speed.
- Hyper Ring: Deploys a ring that boosts the movement speed of allies who pass through it.
- Orbital Ray (Ultimate): Summons a ray that travels forward, healing allies and boosting their damage output.
- Martian Overboots (Passive): While airborne, players can double jump by pressing Jump again and hover by holding the Jump button.
Overwatch 2 Juno Announcement
Initially code-named ‘Space Ranger,’ Juno was first unveiled at BlizzCon 2023 alongside another character, Venture. Juno will be the first playable character in OW2 originating from Mars, distinguishing her from the more Earth-centric backgrounds of other heroes.
Since the launch of Season 11, developers have teased her introduction, with a comet visible in the skies over several maps based along the U.S. West Coast, including Hollywood and Blizzworld. This mysterious apparition was, in fact, the pod of Juno descending to Earth in advance of her debut.
In conjunction with the Transformers crossover event, the enigmatic comet finally landed in Dorado, showcasing her space shuttle.

The pod contained intriguing clues about her as the new Support Hero, including a Morse-coded message and a photograph, suggesting a potential connection with Mei from her past.
While awaiting more information about Juno in Overwatch 2, don’t miss your chance to experience the Transformers collaboration before it concludes.
