The latest installment of Boruto, titled Two Blue Vortex, revealed the Shinju as the new group of antagonists that could potentially unite Kawaki and Boruto against a common foe. It was uncovered that the majority of the Shinju were created using genetic material from individuals who were previously trapped within the vast number of trees.
Although the origins of Jura, the current acting leader, remain undisclosed, it is worth noting that they possess the same abilities as Isshiki, a powerful villain who has been hinted to have connections to the Shinju. This suggests that Jura may be the ultimate opponent that Boruto will have to face and defeat.

Boruto: Jura may be the final speculated Otsutsuki antagonist
Despite Jura being confirmed as a new evolution of the Ten Tails, his true origin and the psyche that served as his blueprint have remained a mystery, unlike the other Shinju. However, due to Jura’s utilization of claw marks and their potential connection to Code and Jashin, it is plausible that Jura is merely a vessel for Jashin or the true mastermind behind it all.
Daikokuten is a technique that enables the user to transport individuals or objects to a parallel dimension where time does not pass and retrieve them at their discretion. This ability was initially demonstrated by Isshiki Otsutsuki.
It is perplexing that Jura is able to manifest cubes from this dimension, as it suggests that he has access to Daikokuten. This is puzzling because Jura does not possess the Kokugan, the very tool that allowed Isshiki to use this jutsu.
This inconsistency suggests that Daikokuten could potentially be a hidden jutsu, indicating that Isshiki may have acquired it through a unique inherited ability from another Otsutsuki or been taught by a fellow Otsutsuki.
This suggests that the Shinju do not possess a natural ability to utilize jutsu associated with a doujutsu. This is further supported by the fact that Hidari is able to use Sasuke’s Chidori, but does not have access to the Susano or other jutsu linked to his eyes, as demonstrated in the most recent Boruto chapters.
Additionally, the nature of Code’s claw marks serves to reinforce this point. While Amado confirmed that Ada and Daemon’s abilities were inherited from Shibai, he made no mention of Code obtaining his claw marks from the same source.
It is entirely feasible that Code’s power could have originated from a vastly different source, potentially indicating that Shibai and his partner achieved godhood through a contradictory means.
The cage of the Ten Tails contained two damaged tablets with uncertain origins. It is possible that one tablet belongs to Shibai while the other belongs to his partner. In the Naruto universe, three divine beings have been referenced: Jashin, Kaguya, and Shibai. This aligns with the existence of three distinct realms: Heaven, Earth, and Hell.
It is likely that Shibai, who possesses the Pure Eye, and his partner, who possesses the “impure”Eye, symbolize the themes of Indra and Asura, representing Good and Evil respectively. Despite being the pure one, Shibai attained godhood while Jashin descended to hell, but is now striving to achieve the same status as Shibai. This aligns with the speculation that Shibai’s partner could potentially be the ultimate antagonist.
It is possible that Code’s claw marks are connected to Jashin, and Jura now serves as a direct vessel for Jashin. This suggests that Jura could potentially be the ultimate enemy, particularly considering the theories that Shibai may ultimately join forces with the protagonists.
