According to DongA Ilbo, the rapper was seen drinking alcohol with his acquaintances near the Hannam Intersection at approximately 9 p.m. Later, Suga proceeded to consume more alcohol at his personal studio before riding his scooter back home at 11 p.m.

The publication emphasized that the studio was located approximately 500 meters from Nine One Hannam. It further clarified that the previous CCTV footage of the incident did not implicate Suga, as it depicted the vehicle heading towards Namsan instead of Suga’s residence, citing differences in their routes.

In a online community, users shared their opinions on the recently updated video and the surrounding controversy. On X (Twitter), netizens criticized JTBC for releasing a misleading clip. See their responses below:

  • “Why is he driving on the sidewalk drunk as hell.”
  • “You are all disgraces. I’m glad it turned out that Yoongi wasn’t lying, and I hope you all get hit with karma for all your slander.”
  • “He didn’t lie, and he fell in front of his house. He was 500 meters away. But of course, people won’t care because they already made up their minds.”
