The recent release of CCTV footage by Korean media outlet DongA Ilbo has shed light on Suga’s drunk driving incident. This news quickly spread online and caught the attention of fans, who took to social media and online forums to share their reactions to the clip.
On August 7, the Seoul Yongsan Police Station pressed charges against Suga for breaking the Road Traffic Act when the idol was caught riding an electric scooter while under the influence and subsequently fell near his residence.
A patrolling officer observed the occurrence and escorted Suga to a station where he was administered a test. According to reports, the idol’s blood alcohol level was 0.227 percent.

Based on the CCTV footage obtained by DongA Ilbo, the incident took place at approximately 11:10 p.m. on August 6. While patrolling the Nine One area in Hannam, three policemen noticed Suga lose his balance during a turn.

According to DongA Ilbo, the rapper was seen drinking alcohol with his acquaintances near the Hannam Intersection at approximately 9 p.m. Later, Suga proceeded to consume more alcohol at his personal studio before riding his scooter back home at 11 p.m.
The publication emphasized that the studio was located approximately 500 meters from Nine One Hannam. It further clarified that the previous CCTV footage of the incident did not implicate Suga, as it depicted the vehicle heading towards Namsan instead of Suga’s residence, citing differences in their routes.
