On May 16, a discussion titled “Mexican fans chant ‘RIIZE is Seven’ at Fancon”was posted on the Korean forum “theqoo”, quickly gaining widespread interest with more than 300 comments in under an hour.
The subject of the video was the chant performed by Mexican fans, expressing their desire for RIIZE member Seunghan, who is currently on an indefinite break, to rejoin the group and complete the full 7-member lineup.

On the other hand, Korean netizens hold a contrasting viewpoint and are ridiculing these fans for continuing to hope for Seunghan’s return. They have also made comments urging SM to formally remove Seunghan from the group in the comments section.
However, RIIZE’s Seunghan has refrained from taking part in any group activities since November 2023 due to a personal life scandal.

- Why are they even acting like that? Do they care about the remaining members?
- SM should release an official statement about Seunghan’s status because it is getting really annoying

- Just announce (Seunghan’s departure) quickly and clearly already
- Why are they traveling such a long distance? How are the 6 remaining members expected to respond to this?
