A post was shared on the popular Korean online forum Nate Pann on June 8 with the title “The funniest thing about LE SSERAFIM’s fans is lol”referring to them as “LE SSERAFIM’s cockroaches,”an insulting term commonly used for the artist’s supporters.
According to the post, prior to the conflict between HYBE and Min Hee-jin, LE SSERAFIM’s fans had placed the group on the same level as NewJeans and were loyal to both groups, while criticizing other groups like IVE and aespa. However, with the emergence of the fight and LE SSERAFIM being targeted for criticism, their fans now believe that Min Hee-jin and NewJeans’ fans are attempting to bring down LE SSERAFIM, leading them to turn their criticism towards NewJeans.
Regarding the backlash faced by Jang Won-young and Ahn Yu-jin for the disbandment of IZ*ONE, the post also addressed the criticism towards LE SSERAFIM. It questioned the tendency to place blame on others and questioned why the two members were being held responsible for the group’s disbandment while Min Hee-jin and NewJeans were receiving public criticism. The post emphasized the need to stop blaming others and instead take responsibility for one’s own actions.
Within just one day, this post has already amassed around 52,000 views and an untold number of comments. A selection of the comments are listed below:
