The screenshots of announcements for NewJeans’s “Supernatural”album events were included for fans who purchase the album. The comment accompanying the screenshots mentioned the press conference and questioned whether the artist was discussing strategies for boosting album sales or encouraging bulk buying. The artist appeared to confidently address the issue of K-pop albums having multiple versions and photocards, pretending to have no interest in such tactics and trying to gain sympathy from fans. The comment also pointed out the artist’s actions regarding the group’s Japanese album, which were deemed as unbelievable.

As a response, additional netizens left their comments:

Initially, the issue at hand was the excessive purchase of unused albums due to an abundance of photocards. To rectify this, the company is now offering a special item for each version of the album to those who purchase it promptly. This will eliminate the problem of multiple purchases. So, what could possibly go wrong?

“What’s the issue? It seems like you are unaware of the problem in your writing. I assume you are simply repeating derogatory phrases about Min Hee-jin from online communities without comprehending their significance!!! What a waste of my time.”

Min Hee-jin did not distribute random photocards or hold lucky draws. Instead, NewJeans provides photocards based on the member version. What are you attempting to deceive people with?

– During the press conference, she clarified that she had no intentions of boosting album sales through the use of random photocards… What are you trying to say?

Min Hee-jin’s double standards imply that my actions are acceptable, but those of others are not ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ.

– You have a great sense of humor.
