A post titled, “Min Hee-jin’s Achievement Surpasses Even G-Dragon’s”by a netizen on Nate Pann has been gaining attention.
The netizen posted a comment from an individual who identified themselves as a fashion industry worker. This person mentioned the term ‘ILLIT core’, which was claimed by the girl group’s company Belift Lab. They stated, “Despite my years of experience in this field, I have never come across this term. Even popular fashion group NewJeans, highly influential among women in their 10s and 20s, has not been referred to as ‘NewJeans core’. Not even G-Dragon, a renowned fashion icon in Korea, has been able to establish a ‘GD core’.”
The individual who left the comment defined “core” as a label for everyday wear that is commonly worn by the public, as opposed to extravagant stage costumes. They also pointed out that ILLIT’s clothing is exclusively designed for performances and not suitable for regular wear outside.
Moreover, the netizen posted articles using the phrase “Min Hee-jin core”to describe the trending fashion of ADOR’s CEO Min Hee-jin at her initial press conference and images showing the widespread adoption of this style among the general public.
