A heated debate was sparked among K-netizens in an online community, discussing whether Wonhee is deserving of being the main visual of ILLIT.
On May 12, an OP expressed their dissatisfaction on Nate Pann by writing an article about Wonhee potentially being the visual member of the group, saying, “(She’s) not the best visual member. She’s cute, but…”
The author continued by sharing unedited photos of the celebrity captured by journalists, which primarily depicted Wonhee’s “unfavorable”appearance, in order to reinforce their viewpoint.
Despite the absence of official visuals announced by Belift Lab or HYBE, Wonhee has gained significant popularity among fans and has even been chosen as a potential “It Girl”in the 5th-generation era.
She was receiving a lot of attention for her doll-like facial features, which included her round boba eyes (round, dark, and shiny). She was also making headlines for her naturally voluminous hair.
