Weki Meki is set to drop their digital single “CoinciDestiny” today (June 12th) at 6 p.m.
Weki Meki’s newest single, “CoinciDestiny,”marks their return after two years and seven months since their 5th mini album, “I AM ME,”was released in November 2021. The song beautifully portrays the serendipitous bond shared between the 8 members of Weki Meki, as well as their heartfelt love for their fans.
Weki Meki’s intention with this song is to express gratitude to their fans for sharing precious memories together throughout the past seven years. Notably, member Ji Su-yeon contributed to the lyrics and composition, infusing Weki Meki’s heartfelt message and concluding story with even more significance.
Since their debut in 2017, Weki Meki, consisting of former I.O.I members Choi Yoo-jung and Kim Do-yeon, has captivated audiences with their distinct style and remarkable versatility in handling various concepts. The group has demonstrated their wide range of talents through their promotions, including hits like “I don’t like your Girlfriend”, “La La La”, “OOPSY”, “COOL”, and “Siesta”.
On May 30th, Choi Yoo-jung took the stage in the musical “Hero” and her fellow members are also showcasing their unique talents in a variety of fields, including OST, musicals, dramas, entertainment, and YouTube content.
At 6 p.m. on June 12th, Weki Meki’s previous comeback track, “CoinciDestiny,”will be released on all major music platforms.
