Get ready to join in the excitement as B.I, the multi-talented K-pop artist, is returning to Malaysia to connect with his dedicated fans – fondly referred to as ID, which stands for “identity”- at his highly anticipated first solo concert in the country!
Lo-Fi Entertainment is hosting the B.I 2024 Tour “HYPE UP”in Kuala Lumpur at the Mega Star Arena on Sunday, 30th June 2024 at 6pm. Tickets will be available for purchase starting Monday, 6th May at 12 noon through www.ticketingtix.com.
Originally known as Kim Han-bin, B.I gained fame as the ex-leader of the popular group iKON before making a comeback as a solo artist in 2021 under his own label, 131. He released his first single album, “Midnight Blue (Love Streaming)”, with all proceeds going towards World Vision to aid children in need.
Despite releasing only two studio albums (“Waterfall”and “To Die For”) and four EPs (“Cosmos”, “Love or Loved Part.1”, “Love or Loved Part.2”, and “Tadaima”), B.I has successfully embarked on headlining tours across Asia and Europe, as well as performing at renowned music festivals including Lollapalooza and Rolling Loud.
He has worked with a diverse group of musicians on his tracks, such as Destiny Rogers and Tyla Yaweh on “Got It Like That,”Bipolar Sunshine and Afgan on “Lost at Sea (Illa Illa 2),”Jession on “Die for Love,”and Soulja Boy and DeVita on “BTBT,”which was recognized by Time magazine as one of the top K-pop songs of 2022.
B.I, who is also recognized as a songwriter and producer, holds full membership in the Korea Music Copyright Association. He has over 100 songs registered under his name, including credits for popular K-pop artists such as Blackpink and Psy.
