Kagurabachi Chapter 30 Highlights: The Tou Prepares to Fight the Intruders

In the 30th chapter of Kagurabachi, titled “Intruders,”the story opens with a flashback of Shiba informing Chihiro that he will go ahead to the Rakuzaichi’s to defeat the guards and clear the way for them. As this happens, the Tou are shown guarding the basement.

In Kagurabachi chapter 30, it is stated that the Tou, also known as the four strongest members of Sazanami, position themselves in all four corners of the Rakuzaichi auction stage to ensure the smooth running of the event.

However, this time, Kyora is the only one on the stage as he believes that the Tou must protect the underground cemetery, Naginojoen, from intruders such as Chihiro and others. As the story progresses in Kagurabachi chapter 30, the focus shifts to the basement where the Tou are seen conversing with each other.

During the discussion, a Tou member points out that the underground cemetery is the sole means of reaching the Rakuzaichi storeroom, as the emergency exit door is located there.

Despite the knowledge of the door’s existence being limited to Kyora Sazanami and them, Chihiro may have deduced the secret with the help of Hakuri according to the Tou’s belief.

To accomplish this goal, they devise a strategy to prevent both the Enten user and others from trespassing on the cemetery.

Suddenly, one of them detects Chihiro’s presence upstairs. A female Tou speculates if Hakuri has arrived safely. However, the member with braids dismisses the idea, claiming that a coward like Hakuri would never come. Instead, he expresses concern for Shiba, who has the ability to easily infiltrate with his teleportation skill.

In chapter 30 of Kagurabachi, the perspective shifts to Hakuri as he cautiously makes his way towards the basement. In a flashback, he can be seen warning Shiba about Soya Sazanami, who is known to be even more intelligent than their father, Kyora, as confirmed by the clan chief.

As Soya notices Hakuri’s arrival, he immediately rushes off to find his younger brother. The rest of the Tou members deduce that Soya’s excitement could only mean that Hakuri has truly appeared. Suddenly, they become aware of Shiba’s presence behind them.

The sorcerer swiftly teleports behind the Tou and comes face to face with a massive door. In a calm manner, he inquires about the method for opening the door to the Naginojoen. Subsequently, we witness Hakuri fleeing from his sibling, Soya Sazanami.

The 30th chapter of Kagurabachi reveals that Hakuri’s task was to divide the members of Tou. Chihiro had instructed Hakuri to head to the basement as soon as possible before the mission. This means that if Hakuri runs towards the surface, they (Hakuri and Chihiro) will eventually reunite.

After a brief run, Hakuri arrives at the surface and finds Chihiro in the midst of a fight with multiple guards. Out of nowhere, a wooden barrier materializes, separating them and obstructing the exit door.

Despite being given the option to return to Shiba, the sorcerer finds it pointless and chooses not to go. He does not want to further tip the scales in Shiba’s favor, making it a four vs. one situation. However, Hakuri does not forget the kindness shown to him by Chihiro and the others and wishes to repay them.

When Soya questions if Chihiro has deceived him, Hakuri adamantly assures him that he has come to vanquish him. In Kagurabachi chapter 30, the exiled sorcerer assumes his fighting stance and activates Isou, declaring to Soya that he has come to conquer him.

Meanwhile, Chihiro Rokuhira uses the Cloud Gouger in his battle against his enemies. Out of nowhere, a man appears and informs him that due to the Enchanted Blade being damaged, its power output is significantly reduced.

Upon seeing the iconic tattoo on the person’s hand, Chihiro is struck with horror as he recognizes them as a member of the Hishaku organization – the very group responsible for his father’s demise. In the final moments of Kagurabachi chapter 30, Chihiro confronts his ultimate enemy.

Final Thoughts

Takeru Hokazono’s skill as a mangaka goes beyond creating visually appealing panels. His talent also lies in his knack for crafting multidimensional characters from the ground up. In Kagurabachi chapter 30, he delivers the long-awaited moment that Hakuri fans have been eagerly anticipating.

After being banished, the sorcerer came to understand his own value and recognized the importance of standing up to his elder brother. Despite the possibility of defeat, he cast aside his fears and resolved to repay the kindness that Chihiro had shown him.

In addition to that, in Kagurabachi chapter 30, Shiba once again showed his impressive abilities. It is worth noting that he bravely took on three highly skilled Sazanami guards on his own. However, the most significant moment of the chapter was when Chihiro confronted a member of the Hishaku.

During his quest for vengeance, Chihiro had been eagerly anticipating the opportunity to confront the Hishaku. Thus, the events in Kagurabachi chapter 30 have perfectly set the stage for an enthralling battle in the upcoming issue.
