Kagurabachi: Chapter 32 – Chihiro’s Journey into Cloud Gouger’s True Realm, Hakuri’s Mastery of Isou

The highly anticipated chapter 32 of Kagurabachi was published in the 24th issue of Weekly Shonen Jump on Monday, May 13, 2024, at 12 am JST. This chapter delved into Chihiro Rokuhira’s newfound power as he entered the True Realm of Cloud Gouger. In addition, Hakuri also reached his full potential by mastering the Sazanami clan’s trademark technique, Isou.

In the previous chapter of Kagurabachi, Chihiro Rokuhira confronted the leader of the Hishaku organization. Despite facing a stark power gap, the protagonist discovered the shocking motive behind the Shinuchi’s auction. Ultimately, he forged a deep connection with the Cloud Gouger blade and unleashed a destructive form of its Mei ability.

Kagurabachi Chapter 32 Highlights: Chihiro’s Epic Battle Against the Hishaku Leader

In chapter 32 of Kagurabachi, titled “Selection,”Chihiro Rokuhira showcases his newly acquired ability, Mei: Shred, upon entering the True Realm of the Cloud Gouger blade. The leader of the Hishaku clan is taken aback as he witnesses the boy’s Enchanted Blade emit black sparks, a sign that Chihiro has regained his strength.

Chihiro harnesses the power of the black sparks to break out of the wooden restraints and rushes towards the sorcerer, swiftly severing his right arm. The Hishaku leader then throws the dismembered limb in Chihiro’s direction, causing him to momentarily lose focus, before swiftly appearing behind him.

Despite Chihiro anticipating the sorcerer’s move in Kagurabachi chapter 32, he quickly regains his composure and plunges his blade into his own chest. However, Chihiro realizes that the sorcerer purposely allowed the attack to land.

As the Hishaku’s leader’s seemingly indestructible body withstands his most powerful attacks, Chihiro realizes he must use all of his strength to defeat him. However, in Kagurabachi chapter 32, it is revealed that the Cloud Gouger only has three embers remaining before it is extinguished.

Upon glancing behind him, Chihiro realizes that the wooden tree has miraculously regained its strength. This means that if he is to destroy it, he must do so with a single powerful strike. However, he remains unsure of the Hishaku leader’s proficiency in sorcery.

Therefore, he decides to break the wooden wall and reunite with Hakuri, as he believes it’s pointless to expend Cloud Gouger’s remaining embers on the sorcerer, which is exactly the outcome the sorcerer desires.

Hakuri awakens Isou after eliminating his internal fears

Despite being on the opposite end of the spectrum, Kagurabachi chapter 32 still highlights Hakuri’s encounter with Soya Sazanami in battle. Despite being a banished sorcerer, Hakuri is still unable to execute the Isou, the signature move of the Sazanami clan. Soya Sazanami loses his patience and resorts to kicking his younger brother.

The Tou member scolds him for trusting Chihiro Rokuhira’s words over his own. He informs Hakuri that Chihiro has been manipulating him for his own gain. As Hakuri watches the battle from the sidelines, he can’t help but wonder if Chihiro will use Mei: Shred to break through the wooden wall.

Continuing on, chapter 32 of Kagurabachi then takes us back in time with a flashback, showcasing Chihiro Rokuhira, Shiba, and Hakuri. In this scene, Shiba informs Hakuri that he has the ability to release Isou. To better illustrate his point, he draws a human figure in the dirt with a stick.

According to the 32nd chapter of Shiba in Kagurabachi, sorcery is composed of Spirit Energy which resides within every individual. Through training, sorcerers can learn to manipulate this energy and enhance its potential.

If an individual possesses the ability to effectively manipulate Spirit Energy within their body, they can achieve extraordinary agility and defensive capabilities. However, sorcery requires more than just this fundamental skill; a sorcerer must also possess a robust physical form in order to use it.

Shiba recalls Hakuri’s remarkable actions during his confrontation with Hiyuki, despite being hit by the Flame Bone user’s powerful attack. Although the blow would have been fatal for most, Hakuri was able to survive due to the presence of Spirit Energy within his body. In fact, in chapter 32 of Kagurabachi, it is revealed that Hakuri is now prepared to harness the power of sorcery.

After turning twelve and showing no signs of improvement, Hakuri was no longer permitted to train with his siblings.

In Kagurabachi chapter 32, Shiba reveals to Hakuri that although he possesses the natural ability for sorcery, he has unintentionally created a mental barrier that prevents him from utilizing it. As a result, Hakuri has always struggled with feeling incapable and has subconsciously developed a mental block.

Nevertheless, Chihiro Rokuhira’s encounter had a profound impact on his life. In Kagurabachi chapter 32, the story returns to the present where the sorcerer breaks down his mental barrier and unleashes Isou on Soya Sazanami.

Despite its lack of impact, the attack forces Soya against the wall, providing enough opportunity for Chihiro to break through and stab the sorcerer in the back.

Upon meeting up with Hakuri, Chihiro Rokuhira urges him to move quickly. The Hishaku leader is impressed by the protagonist’s responsible actions. The 32nd chapter of Kagurabachi concludes as Hiyuki suddenly appears behind the Hishaku boss.
