In the previous chapter of Kagurabachi, Chihiro Rokuhira unlocked the hidden potential of the Cloud Gouger by entering its True Realm. He showcased a new ability, known as Mei: Shred, while battling the boss of the Hishaku clan.

Elsewhere, Hakuri overcame his fears and successfully performed his clan’s signature move, Isou. He used this technique to drive his elder brother towards the immense wooden wall. Just as Chihiro Rokuhira broke through the wall, he swiftly stabbed the Tou member in the back from behind.

After the Hishaku’s leader used their teleportation skill to leave, the fighters from the Sazanami clan arrived on the scene. They immediately took note of Hiyuki’s Enkotsu (Flame Bone) and realized that she was a member of the Kamunabi clan.

One member of the Sazanami group is taken aback as they had believed the Kamunabi to be a more traditional faction.

Despite this, Hiyuki insists that she is not like the others. The Sazanami guards prepare to attack her for breaking their long-standing tradition, the Rakuzaichi.

The youngest Tou member and Hakuri’s twin brother gains the power that rivals an Enchanted Blade

In Kagurabachi chapter 33, the story shifts to a flashback where Kyora Sazanami is shown presiding over the Rakuzaichi auction. He calls upon his two young sons, Hakuri and his twin brother, Tenri, to join him on stage.

Kyora refers to them as unique individuals, stating that only the Sazanami possess the privilege of performing on the stage. Anyone else who tries to intervene is erased from existence. Subsequently, chapter 33 of Kagurabachi returns to the present, revealing the aftermath of Shiba’s clash with the three Tou members.

Chihiro’s mentor questions Tenri about the method of opening the cemetery door, but he declines to provide an answer. A member of the Tou group is taken aback by Shiba’s impressive physical abilities and believes he possesses more than just the power of teleportation.

As a result, he consents to reveal the truth. In the meantime, Tenri’s mind was filled with thoughts about how his father recognized him as the youngest Tou and referred to him as something special.

A strong desire to impress his father consumes him. All of a sudden, an item falls in front of him from Kyora’s sub-dimensional vault. In Kagurabachi chapter 33, another flashback reveals the Hishaku’s boss presenting Kyora with the object and informing him that it holds Genichi Sojo’s legacy.

Even though he perished in his quest to reach Kunishige Rokuhira’s realm, he remained a brilliant inventor who created an object capable of temporarily controlling the Datenseki. This weapon had the ability to bestow powers equal to those of the Enchanted Blades.

Although Kagurabachi chapter 33 also reveals that its effect is temporary, it is important to note that after usage, the user’s body will not be able to handle the overwhelming flood of Spirit Energy and may ultimately result in death.

Kyora Sazanami recalls the Hishaku leader’s advice and, with a stoic expression, commands his son to protect the auction at all costs.

Tenri, without hesitation, seizes the object and it immediately transforms his Spirit Energy into a shape resembling that of a Jellyfish. Shiba quickly recognizes that Tenri now possesses abilities akin to those of an Enchanted Blade.

After realizing that Chihiro only has a few embers remaining in the Cloud Gouger before the blade dies, the sorcerer remembers that Chihiro had hesitated to kill his brother Soya earlier. As a result, he urges Chihiro to continue on ahead. The 33rd chapter of Kagurabachi concludes with Hakuri preparing to face his brother once again in a rematch.
