Kagurabachi Chapter 42 Spoilers: Chihiro’s Race Against Time to Rescue the Prisoners and Stop Shinuchi’s Rampage

The purported spoilers for Chapter 42 of Kagurabachi start with a flashback, in which Tafuku questions Hiyuki about her intentions to eliminate Chihiro Rokuhira after completing the mission. Hiyuki, a sorcerer from Kamunabi, asserts that she will follow through with the kill in order to secure the Enchanted Blades from Chihiro’s grasp.

Hiyuki inquires of Tafuku whether he feels empathy for Rokuhira. In response, Tafuku reassures her that Chihiro will not pose a threat to her forever. He then questions if she would be capable of taking another’s life.

Chihiro Rokuhira holds his head and grunts and shouts, as if desperately attempting to rid himself of the entity that is threatening to consume him. Meanwhile, he becomes aware that the Storehouse is collapsing. He anxiously considers the fate of the prisoners who remain trapped inside the vault.

As Hiyuki charged towards Kyora, they were determined to defeat them swiftly. However, Hakuri suddenly noticed something amiss. To their surprise, not only Kyora, but also Chihiro and Hiyuki were suddenly transported to the auction room. The head of the Sazanami clan then appeared on the podium and demonstrated Shinuchi’s Centipede ability.

The impact of Kyora’s attack is a macabre garden of death flowers, entrapping and ultimately claiming the lives of those who witness it. As his consciousness slips away, chaos reigns and Kyora struggles against an unknown adversary in a fierce internal conflict.

Hiyuki inquires of Hakuri how they can ensure the safety of the prisoners. The Sazanami sorcerer explains that the only way is to enter the prison and infuse each prisoner with Spirit Energy, allowing him to use his sorcery powers to lead them to safety.

Despite Kyora being at his limits, the space would only last a few seconds. Shiba agrees with Hakuri’s words and believes that going there would be a suicide mission. However, Chihiro Rokuhira remains steadfast in his conviction to not let innocent lives be lost due to the Enchanted Blades.
