Chihiro Rokuhira stood before the Kamunabi judging panel, his hands bound in handcuffs. The organization’s higher-ups and leaders were preparing to discuss his potential membership within their ranks. Thanks to a deal struck with Hiyuki to retrieve the Shinuchi blade, Chihiro had been brought before them. The leaders appeared intrigued by Chihiro’s identity and debated his possible connection to Rokushira Kushinige.

Despite the possibility of postponing the meeting until Chihiro’s blood test results were available, the council chose to proceed promptly due to the uncontrollable nature of the Shinuchi Blade’s powers. The council also expressed a desire to witness Hakuri Sazanami’s sorcery abilities, but Hiyuki stepped in and explained that it was not possible at the present moment. She also confidently defended his capabilities.

The council’s main focus was to uncover the truth behind the destruction of Kuregumo. However, some members saw this event as a negative sign and continued to question his true identity. Chihiro stepped in and suggested that it would be more beneficial to evaluate him based on his actions.

Despite the near impossibility of the tasks, Kamunabi was able to defeat Soujo, put an end to the Rakuzaichi festival, and successfully steal the Shinuchi Blade. As a result, he greatly benefitted from these accomplishments.

After vouching for Chihiro and assuring that he meant no harm to the holders of Kamunabi, Hiyuki and the others were shocked when reports of an attack began to pour in. They soon discovered that Hishaku was behind the attacks, trying to retrieve the Shinuchi Blade. It was then that Chihiro was forced to reveal his true intentions with the organization. The group came to the realization that he had no intention of giving up his Enten or the Shinuchi Blade.

Yet, the spoilers for chapter 46 of Kagurabachi revealed the dire state of the Kamunabi leadership due to the frequent Hishaku attacks. As a result, Chihiro’s handcuffs are taken off and he temporarily aligns with Kamunabi in their efforts to defeat Hishaku.
